*WARNING!!! - Lots of pics involved*
Nothing Official! This is just a few things that I've gathered from things Toyota has done/said, what their new line ups are looking like and renderings of what the production version of this car might actually have. All based on my opinion by the way.

Same here. Though the next generation Mx-5 should change the image of the car a bit. Looks a little more S2000ish so I think with a decent motor it will bring more male buyers than it would with its previous generations which to me had no attraction compared to the new one.
^ this could be a possibility. Or Toyota will just use Z5/Z7 platform to build the FT-1 and the Lexus LF-LC. Which I thought would share platforms with each other anyway seeing how similar both cars are.
I'd like to see a base + flagship for this car only because it can help sales and keep prices lower. However, even the base must be worthy especially if it carries the Supra name plate.
Base - Toyota V6TT (400+HP)
Flagship - V8 (possibly turbo 500+HP)
From early rumors it was said this may get...
Sport cars in general are never going to sell in huge numbers. Obviously like most have mentioned the first few yrs of production, the car being new and all the hype will push out sells. But once those enthusiast that wanted the car have it the other competitors will come out with something...
The FT-1 concept has one like the one on the LFA. The RC-F is a bit different and I'm sure its not as expensive or as complex. Besides from one of the review videos I watched, there is no official proof Lexus has provided confirming the RC-F spoiler provides additional downforce. So it's more...
^ not sure if it will increase the # of woman buyers. The original looks better but I am a guy. A different bumper, headlights, hood and gauge cluster is about all I see different.
I guess if it is successful in having huge sales for both men and women, they may bring it to the US as the...
^ haha yeah so many rumors and updates it's hard to keep up. The Lexus LF-LC (maybe SC-F) production is rumored to have a V8 TT producing up to 600hp. I see them also using a V8 TT on the next gen LS possibly an LS-F. Kind of like what they have done withe RC-F and GS-F.
^ well said. It's about planting a seed with a car like this. What ever develops out of the seed depends on the person but that's what Halo cars can do is help expand the brand in many different ways.
Also i wouldn't see a point in making another sedan with the same thing the GS-F provides which is just a 4 door RC-F. What would adding the ISF to their line up with the same motor do for them? Just different exteriors/interiors choices for consumers. Personally I don't see a point in doing...
Well the 2UR-GSE in the RC-F comes from the ISF but with better internals and a few other upgrades. That same motor is now going to be on the GS-F.
The IS250 currently has 2.5 V6 but will be replaced by a 2.0 4 cyl turbo next year sometime (engine in the new Lexus NX F-sport). It's lighter +...
Came across another video posted November 2014. Tada San confirms Toyota is working on a higher performance vehicle to sit above the GT86 and also an entry level car
^ I agree. If it rocks a Supra nameplate, it must at least meet and exceed what the 2JZ is capable of. I'm sure we'll be seeing 2JZ swaps in this thing either way unless it comes with an inline 6.
Maybe half the number of sales. Maybe a slight bit more. There will be a price gap and not many people can jump financially from a $25k car to a $55k+ car. So probably 1 FT1 to every 5 FRS I would say will be produced.
Sales will be a lot better than a GTR and NSX if the price point stays...
