^ I know what you meant. It does feel like this Bmw partnership is headed the same way though, minus the styling interior/exterior of the car.

^ Toyota styled the car and helped with the engineering of the car. The car chasis and motor was provided by Subaru. Toyota provided their D4S Direct Injection for the engine. I believe the car is built by Subaru at a Subaru plant as well.

So it sounds like we're getting an M4 in a different suit (I can hear the Bimmer fan boys comments when seeing this car). If all is true, I'm kind of dissapointed with Toyota. I guess we'll have to wait 2 more years to see. To me at the end it sounds like this platform may be used for the LF-LC...

I'm surprised at the price as well. I understand the whole heritage behind the GT but $397k for a Ford super car is insane. Pretty sure Ford has noticed what people have been willing to pay for the previous models, so hey why not sell a new generation for around the same price and make extra...

Cars being released sometime in 2017 means a 2018 production model. So if everything is correct, we are 2 yrs away from seeing what it looks like and 2.5-3yrs before anyone can own/drive one. That is a long wait.

Looks like a poor mans version of the FT-1 with some nice power numbers.
