Not sure if they have mentioned it but looks like this is built on an M4 platform. The FT-1 is built on an RC-F platform I believe.

Honda seems to be pretty serious about it's sports car image again. The S2000 was successful in it's day and if those sketches are truely what the successor will look like I can see this one being great as well.

I think this may be used for the upcoming sub 86 (code name 69DZ) concept coming later this year to the Tokyo auto show. Also Toyota renewed the Supra trademark sometime last year after the FT-1 debut.

^ I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if this is using the platform from the Toyota joint project 'Silk Rode'. Most of the Cars proportions do resemble the FT-1 a bit. If so, I wonder if Toyota will give us another concept before production model.
