I called and they told me the same thing, it’s on the truck from port of NY and will be in either sometime now till Saturday to Hackensack Toyota of Nj.
It seems the Europeans have less love for the MK5, seems a lot of European reviews are quick to point out it’s similar to a Z4….excuse me zed4 in the weird way they say it ?
Are both of yours still on the boat? I was told the 6th for processing aka the day the boat shows up to port and then the 20th it’ll be at the dealer. Seems a bit long from port to dealer considering the dealer is across the bridge from Manhattan and the port is somewhere in NYC.
Post about being the first manual owner comes great responsibility….not expecting a professional automotive journalist review but I and others on here would like a more in depth review from an actual production car on the streets.
OP, is there a little review with thoughts on your new purchase you would like to share with the masses? Surely you have yours in your possession by now.
I didn’t get them to come down at all, they had folks on the other line wanting my allocation, I called first thing when they opened and had 3 left at the time and by the time I got off the phone the other ones were gone.
They had 5 allocations for the A91 this week and they are all gone thanks to me and a few other guys on here. Thanks for the heads up whomever it was that posted that!
For those that have access to the dealer allocation system….can you see if all 500 allocations for the A91 MT have been assigned or are there still a lot more to drop/allocate?
Hello, I know some of you have been on the same rat race I’ve been on, calling 50-60+ dealers and have succumbed to paying a markup possibly at 5K above msrp that is willing to sale out of state as I’m in FL.
I’ve been checking everyday for the last month waiting to here about an actual hands on first drive but there’s nothing. When will Toyota let the media actually get their hands on the car? Really curious to see what others say of the RE-tune.
