  2. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

I do have another vehicle but plan to drive the Supra daily during the good weather so need a true dual purpose tire. It looks like there are some decent 200TW dual purpose tires out there.
  3. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Let me add I will only be driving the Supra in the summer. I imagine people drive the Cup 2 tires daily. It is OEM on a ton of P cars. Isnt the TW rating 200 as well. Maybe I should be looking at CUP 2s or the like.

  6. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

If the black grill can be removed a hole could be place without removing the bumper with a side cutting drill/dremel. One concern might be the accumulation of dirt/debris in this newly created high pressure area. To mitigate this one could place Frogwear mesh over the hole to reduce significant...
  7. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

I misspoke the hole would only go thru the radiator shroud where they put it in the install video. It faces down into the high pressure zone and would not be visible. A hole alone would create continuity with the area behind the light and may be able to be placed without removing the bumper. I...
  8. Verus heat shield functionally

I have been playing with my infrared gun hitting the Verus resonator delete before and after with the verus shield plus and minus the OEM shield. Not very controlled but the addition of the OEM shield did seem to help. I did not test prior to the verus shield but they provide plenty of data. I...
  9. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

I might imagine punching two holes in that high pressure zone may be just as effective lol
  10. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

I wouldn’t imagine much more noise it’s just relocating the opening of the OEM intake, same size.
  11. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

Very nice product, I wonder if you can achieve the same affect simply making the hole in the fascia where located on the video. It would essentially extend the high pressure zone into the area behind the lights where the OEM intake ends. I’m sure not as effective but I would imagine an improvement.

  16. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I pounded it flat in that area with a rubber mallet and now have a good inch or more. It makes no sense to remove it from a functional stand point.
  17. Verus heat shield functionally

I have to find a camber I can live with daily and on the track. My alignment kit arrives today
  18. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

  19. What did you do to your Supra today?

    That torque curve is ridiculous
  20. Verus heat shield functionally

Ok so they do suggest you remove the OEM shield and it does look like it may contact the versus shield for the 6 port but I could easily modify it to clear the versus shield and I believe it might add additional shielding for the airbox. Razorlab will need to confirm.
