I just got out my Longacre camber/caster tool prior to installing camber plates and got weird readings. I did not have the car lvl just in the garage and no weight in the car but measured -2.6 driver front and rear and -1.5 passenger front and rear. Repeated multiple times. Could the difference...
Good point. I will be increasing front camber but could leave the Toe alone. BTW The wear on the rears is not that uneven might just leave the camber in back as is.
There is a nice video on the thread "Speed Engineering CAI duct that shows you clearly. The OEM intake opening sits on the inside of the passenger headlamp opening into the space behind the top half of the bumper fascia. Their duct extends the OEM intake toward the middle above the high pressure...
The intake sits beside the headlight and draws from the space behind the upper bumper fascia. There is a thread about an aftermarket plastic extension from the OEM position to the high pressure area in the center of the bumper cutting thru the radiator shroud.
I was at CMS yesterday. I did a track walk with the driving coach then some lead follows and finally some hot laps trying a few new lines. It was hot track temps high but very very helpful. It also is so nice that my Novice solo grp only has like 4-5 cars in it per session.
I use these adapters on my ohrvs all the time. They come straight from Battery Tender. They do work just trickle in current thru the 12V acc. Obviously it would be connected to a lithium tender.
Lap times were actually faster than AO52 so not very reduced grip. Definitely a contender would like to see how it stacks up in the Grassmotorsports comparison
There are charging adapters that you plug into the “cigarette “ 12v accessory power source that once attached to a smart battery tender can maintain the cars battery. I use them all the time.
Great info I am considering Falken RT660. They are also enduro tire, test well on Tire Racks track test and they are not asymmetric so look like they can be rotated to the back to place the outside shoulder inside
The AD09 look great as well. Also considering Falken RT660 which performed very well. Nice to see there are good performing 200TW tires that are considered street/track.
They are top on my list, definitely better than the PSSs and a true dual tire. I read the comments which said they were decent in the rain. The Cup 2s are off the list.
Well it happened, 85 degrees hot track and been pushing harder lap times coming down. My PSSs look like Razorlab's even started making some funny noises. After 20min I could feel the car sliding in a few turns and VSC at work.
