I am planning on buying some track wheels 18” square and really wanted to avoid spacers by sticking with 10” width but now I’m thinking I will move up to 10.5 and use spacers like everyone else.

I can tell you in the offroad world spacers can be a big deal as they change the scrub radius which does influence handling. I'm not sure it is a big deal on the track.

not true I have a stacker with two hydraulic sliding jacks that span inner part of the lift. Drive on slide them in place jack up and all four wheels off np at any height you want. I have a 13 ft ceiling in my garage lift sits in 3rd bay and I store a car under Np
