Well Phil3, I hope that you're enjoying your new car today. Looks like you've had a good day weather wise, may you have the health to enjoy it for many years.
Very jealous!?
I think the pricing highlights how much more those of us in the UK have to pay than the US, it's nearly pound for dollar, so the 3.0 Pro (or Premium in the US) is ÂŁ54,340 in the UK which works out at around $74700!
Just be grateful that the customer is king in the US 'cause we're paying a...
That's nicely integrated - looks like a factory fitment. My plate is 7 digits so probably wouldn't fit into the smaller aperture - I've gone for SU15PRA ( which only suits this car) as I plan to keep the car long term rather than getting a plate with my initials (which could be transfered to any...
Glad to hear you're picking your car up soon, hope to get mine mid October. Just purchased a tow hook number plate bracket and a personalised plate for the car.
Here's hoping for a long Indian summer.
Just don't scroll down to the comments section, the usual keyboard warriors whose knowledge of cars could be written on the back of a stamp.
With a marker!
It's funny how you read an article in a magazine and don't connect the dots!
I've just reread an article in Car magazine when they had a Supra as a fleet car, your car got such a glowing review - especially the alignment adjustments, the Tein suspension and ecu mods.
Sounds like a very sorted...
Keis motorsport did a step by step video on changing the oil in the Supra plus resetting the service interval settings, sorry I can't be of more help by adding the link but if you search in YouTube it'll come up.
Now if only I had a car to demonstrate it on! Still waiting for my order to be...
Glad to hear that your car has arrived, that wasn't too long a wait. It did make me contact my salesman as I was wondering why my order is taking so long given that I placed the order in January and it's looking like an 11 month wait.
He is asking Toyota GB what is going on and has been told...
Yes, that's what I thought too. There were cars at 47k with low miles but the higher APR rate made them just as expensive as the new one that I'm waiting for.
And I'm also going to get the colour that I want rather than settling for one that would do (if you know what I mean).
And as others...
That's great news, sounds like your dealer was on the money when they said the end of July (post #12). Hope that the delivery doesn't take too long and that you get the car soon - exciting times.
My own My T app now shows the map of the factory that you referred to in post #17 although I'm not...
I had seen the yellow one on Autotrader, it's at Steven Eagell. So I phoned them up and they said that they were having problems with Autotrader as they were putting posts up of vehicles in stock which isn't the case - they didn't have that car, they had a 2019 one though but were apologetic...
Glad to hear that you got sorted, I hope you're enjoying every moment this summer and have a few road trips planned.
Hope that the dealer treated you well and offered something for all of the hassle.
I am looking for a Litening Yellow Supra 3.0 Pro, having seen this colour in the metal it's the only colour I want.
Regarding nearly new, that's probably me being OCD as I want this to be right from the start so want it ceramic coated and there's always the nagging doubt that the first keeper...
Just a further update on my order - and it's not good news. My mid August date has been pushed back to mid November!!! That's 11 months since placing the order. The salesman was as annoyed as I was and is being told by Toyota GB that it is his job to manage customer expectations when he...
I ordered mine on the first week of this year! Yes, back in January! Initially I was told mid May which then moved to mid July and is now mid August due to a spec change to the 3.0 Pro. I can only see a reduction to emissions but everything else is the same.
There was news on one website that...
Just a thought but looking at the brochure that I received at the start of the year, the CO2 emmisions for the 3.0 are 188g/km while looking at Toyota's European website quotes something like 165g/km. There is also a reduction in emissions for the 2.0 so maybe they are making the engines cleaner...
No problem, will do.
I placed my order at the start of January this year thinking that I'd have the car for Easter and to enjoy the car through the summer and initially details were thin on the ground as the salesman wasn't getting any info from Toyota GB. After a couple of requests for info I...
I hope that you find the following news useful, like yourself I have placed an order for a European spec Supra at the start of the year - in my case a 3.0 Pro which seems to be similar to the Premium in the US without the power upgrade due to EURO emissions.
So, after initially being told that...
