CTS turbo, Paul Johnson aka F80 Paul.
People don't like W/M systems because in the old days engine management systems were pretty basic. To get more power with W/M you add boost and maybe timing. If the W/M quit working you had more boost and maybe timing without the added octane and cooling...
Snow performance, 2 gph and 6 gph in charge pipe, 6psi-24psi, mostly ethanol with some methanol, no water. This setup is for supplying more octane to reduce timing corrections on 92 pump gas 27 psi tune.
At this point yes, I use Ethanol and or Methanol in a water meth system to increase octane on pump gas. Sure it cools too for an added benefit. I don't need it for additional fueling as I have PI/DI. I used to run 50/50 water meth but my tuner recommended pure meth, for octane, if I felt...

Additionally, if the vehicle's battery dies, you won’t be able to shift the transmission, and it will be stuck in park. While having every function of the transmission be operated through...
We should not be doing any modifying of our stock vehicles if we are not prepared to accept the possibilities. Does XHP kill every stock trans, no absolutely not. Can it help kill a stock trans, absolutely. Is XHP right for your car, it depends lol.
More power, miles, races, temp, etc it all...
CTS turbo, EOS mani, PI/reflex, Meth, flex fuel, XHP, 92 octane, catless DP, 27-28 psi. It did 562 whp on DI, catted DP, and a couple pounds less boost. So I am swagging that the final tune with 2-3 more psi, no cat, a couple deg more timing and more meth gets me close to 600 whp.
Yea I agree and find it hard to believe that he hooks with PS4S and 600+ whp unless its 80+ deg roads and you warm up the tires with a burnout. I have 305 PS4S rears and around 600 whp on pump gas. At 40-60F deg ambient temp they stand no chance rolling into it at 40-50 mph. It's even worse with...
If you are doing logs starting at 2-3K in fifth gear, and blowing off 305/45/17 ET street R at 3900 rpm (70 mph), you must be making way more power/torque than I am on E50. I have the the same radials and assuming the weather is slightly above freezing, it hooks in fifth gear. I don't have a...
Regarding your comment about tuning on the dyno and not being prepared...
Any decent b58 tuner should be able to easily remote tune your setup even with flex fuel, upgraded turbo, meth, and PI/reflex. They literally send you files and instructions for the Motiv Reflex Plus and a tune for...
How do you want to setup your system?
-Single stage, one pump, one solenoid, no PWM
-Either on or off, 0 or 100%, one output required
-Single stage, one pump, one solenoid, PWM
-PWM so approx 60-100%, one or two outputs required
-Dual stage, one pump, two solenoid/nozzle, no PWM
-Two...
The weeping was very minimal when on the factory fill. I changed the fluid and filled to drain plug. That produced a large weep. Pumped out some now its back to a minimal weep. I am learning leaky and BMW go together.
I don't know for certain. I have several years of wiping up varying levels of oil on the diff. In my experience, if the fluid level is at the plug, its to full and will exit the vent hole fairly aggressively until the level comes down to its happy place. I have not had oil anywhere that would...
I see a reflex keeping that torqbyte company. I'm sure with all those extra failure points a DNF is likely. Oh wait we are talking about car bowling, so no problem getting 8 seconds of functionality...
Turn on Drag Race feature, and accept the warning that it will kill your trans super quick etc...
I'm about 27/28 psi on pump gas with meth and there is no way it can handle a WOT 5/6 shift without slipping like crazy.
@razorlab knowing you would read that I should have worded my response a little different. PI is likely needed if you want to run way over 30% E at high boost pressure, lets assume 80% E at 36 PSI. We know that DI is better than PI. The only reason we put PI on these cars is to solve fuel...
