  1. Botti Tunes Safety/Reliability vs. Others?

Makes sense that they are the same as there is no magic to tuning this platform.
  2. GR Supra 101: Routes to big power

You can install the Reflex, PI, E sensor whenever. The key piece of info is you need a tune to run PI or an upgraded turbo. The reflex wiring, PI and E sensor can be installed but not utilized until you are ready for a turbo upgrade and tune. Once you are tuned for PI Reflex, you have to utilize...
  3. GR Supra 101: Routes to big power

You need to have a good game plan first. If you require the ability to run over 30% ethanol E85 on an aftermarket turbo, you need PI, flex fuel sensor, and Reflex all at the same time. Why? Well the reflex changes where you bring in the flex fuel sensor. Meaning the flex fuel sensor wires to the...

Awesome, glad to hear that the misfires were not related to any major issue.
  5. Solved

Wondering if you made any progress on the misfire issues?

I would guess "Stock Turbo Sauce" is the main contributor to the IAT. All joking aside, 28 PSI on stock turbo and likely stock manifold/intercooler is the reason for the IAT rising quickly. Honestly I believe your tune is the main issue and potentially damaged cylinder 6. How did the plug...
  7. Achieving 750WHP+ Without Port Injection - A Plug and Play Solution for 2020+ Supras

Awad, did you and Spool resolve the chargeback issue?
  8. Solved

A quick code search came up with this. https://www.supramkv.com/threads/a90-and-meth.8796/#post-127220 Hopefully there is some other explanation for your issues. I doubt a PI injector is stuck on or you would have serious trim and drivability issues. I am in process of getting my setup remote...
  9. Solved

Yes that is what we are implying. Look at the timing corrections in my log vs the log you posted. I would pull your plugs or at least #6 to check. I also would not do another WOT pull until you have dialogue with your tuner.
  10. Solved

The 80 PSI fuel pressure is what I see too when under load. I have to datalog fuel pressure via the Reflex. There is some pathway where the Reflex puts E% on can-bus for BM3 logic to use. I was surprised not to see it in your log.
  11. Solved

I agree with @razorlab. Here is a datalog from my setup for comparison purposes. CTS turbo, EOS manifold, PI, Reflex, flex fuel sensor, Meth, factory LPFP, Paul Johnson tuned. Note no overboost, no WOT throttle closures, minimal to no timing corrections. Datalog...
  12. Black Stone Report

0W20 is for CAFE compliance 0W20 is for CAFE compliance 0W20 is for CAFE compliance 0W20 is for CAFE compliance So true, I wish someone would have just told me to use LL01 or LL04 rated oils when I bought the B58.
  13. Top Mount for Daily

I do not have a top mount, but I will try to answer the question. Typically when someone purchases a top mount 700 rwhp is about the minimum they are shooting for and they have 20K+ to throw at it to get started. This means many components should be upgraded and the probability for vehicle...
  14. Locations Without E85 - How do you get your Octane?

Thanks @razorlab for always keeping us honest... That sensor did not look like a hot wire anemometer like the maf sensors normally do. Good to know it's just a (pre turbo) temp sensor. @GoldenEye I am not much of a city slicker, so I reside down South of Olympia, Littlerock area. I rarely head...
  15. Locations Without E85 - How do you get your Octane?

I certainly could be wrong, but I thought there is a MAF sensor right after the air filter box? The logged MAF reading has always clipped out at 1020 units with any BM3 tuning. I do not know if it reads higher and the program limits the reported value, no clue. I have been told that the DME only...
  16. Locations Without E85 - How do you get your Octane?

I initially installed a snow WM kit after getting BM3 OTS stage 2 and noticing more timing retard than I liked. I knew it was an octane issue as different gas stations produced slightly different ignition corrections. The WM kit helped even more with 50/50 and a small 250 ml/min nozzle (stamped...
  17. BM3 Rough Running, Mixture too lean

The codes are not a normal part of a BM3 tune. I would only be concerned if they come back or become persistent.
  18. BM3 Rough Running, Mixture too lean

I agree with @razorlab the bm3 OTS tunes are fine for mildly modified vehicles. If you just want a custom tune Botti, Payn, Viscontii are the most popular, I used Paul Johnson aka F80Paul.
  19. Lost 20 whp with new exhaust and flex fuel kit

4th gear dyno run and timing corrections where power drops off???
  20. Black Friday Deals- Weld Drag Pack

I could use a set too. Are the bead locks necessary if not airing down super low?
