Something like this. But yo want to know how much you want to deliver and divide by 6 to get the correct nozzle. Then are you using ss tubing and Ts manifold or how? I briefly thought about all this before installing my EOS manifold...
The pressure is higher before the manifold, look at the MAP variable too. It is right where it is commanded to be. This tuner is using the MAP as the PID process variable instead of pre-throttle body PSI.
Pump gas 92 octane, plus #6 nozzle WM, 22.7 PSI, 14 deg timing up top, couple deg of timing retard on several cylinders, 102 deg F IAT, dynojet...

Sure it can be the turbo leaking. Or it can be the oil feed fitting. Or massive blow by PVC issues.
I have had many oil leaks over the years, start by cleaning everything, put it all back together and go for a drive. Disassemble and inspect. You have to catch it moving from perfectly clean to...
@razorlab and @zrk I am amazed at the power B58s make on a road course and hold up. Old school engines had to be modified with forged alloy pistons and larger gaps on the rings. Just to minimize breaking ring lands from excessive heat from sustained high boost. 500-600+ whp lap after lap, 250+F...
@zrk I know, I have seen what you and other have accomplished on a stock engine. I was joking and should have emphasized the + part of 500+. I am working to get a built trans this winter, axles, and some welds.
I am running the 500+ HP B58 longevity test for you guys.
Yall just stay down there in the 400s and I'll let you know when mine blows. :)
All joking aside, I hope not to blow the engine, but I have blown enough engines to know shit happens when being pushed.
The supra is not my daily but it's so fun I drive it almost like a daily. I don't know how much it is making at 22.5 psi @MAP sensor on 92, will find out in two days, but it's all 305 ps4s can handle at highway speeds. I do not need or want 650-700 rwhp all the time. That is where I believe the...
It is not a reality for me to run E85 all the time, I wish it was. There are essentially no E85 stations in WA. I have no problem bringing fuel with me to the track and have done just that for 20+ years. It is another thing to bring your fuel with you everywhere because you can not fill up at a...
I do get ethanol shipped to me, therefore the flex fuel sensor, reflex, port injectors and tune. I do not want to run high E% all the time because of PITA factor of a 5 gal pail of ethanol in passenger seat all the time.
I ended up just doing a CTS turbo, flex fuel, port injection, with an EOS manifold. It will normally run on 92 with 50/50 water/meth injection and for more fun add ethanol.
The most important thing about oil for a BMW engine is that it meets the BMW oil specifications.
stock use BMW LL17FE oil specification
Tuned or track use BMW LL01 or BMW LL04 specification
Secure the heater wiring out of the way, it is unused now. You may get a PCV leak code until your tuner codes it out. Congrats on the CTS, I am enjoying the 2 port version.
@OldHead-MKV-Owner I'm in a similar situation, except installing PI. I wonder if my catted dp is going to hold up to port injection. On some of my other high boost engines the leftover fuel on the intake runner walls, after WOT, vaporizes at causes a super rich condition on lift. The fireballs...
There is one way to stop all the nonsense, have moderators that are very smart and borderline A-holes like @razorlab. Have them deal with all the repetitive shit by merging threads, deleting stuff, etc... I have seen it work on certain message boards, but boy do the masses that want to be spoon...
^ See above for the best recommendation so far other than taking it to the dealer. You perform a wiring change to the BDC wiring and get codes that keep coming back...
