I have no idea, but to me seems to be saying your cpu is being pushed above some preset utilisation threshold. Canāt imagine what is suddenly pushing your processor though.
Q. On all this remapping stuff I assume you canāt start changing stuff like the rate at which sensors are polled for data?
I see you have not crossed a single item as sold off on your list then? Seems a bit suspect that..
Also, you really need to cross off the BM3 as that aināt gonna transfer to anyone now that the cars gone to the junkyard..
I had already PMād on the BM3 license a couple hours before your msg where it may be too late to transfer it to a new user as you have to flash the ECU back to stock through the BM3 app before it will then release the license to another user+vin. As his car is now in the junkyard I donāt think...
I have always been a huge fan of American muscle cars having grown up in the states, but I just could not bring myself to own a car like the Mustang on narrow UK roads. It would be fine if it was strictly a motorway/A road cruiser, but as a sports car on narrow B roads, I would find it quite a...
Cool, good to know! (I will take Visconti info with a pinch of salt!)
I assume you are using BM3? (Which is really good to know as you are definitely one of the Supra āsuper usersā on here where I am thinking BM3 for my car!)
You will probably now tell me BM3 is a pile of crap! ??
This is what I was starting to think was the case, I was looking at the description on the Visconti site where it talks unlock for EcuTek and downgrade for MHD/BM3 where I am thinking EcuTek coexists with whatever your current Toyota firmware modules are while BM3 does something more global like...
I have another dumb question Iām afraid, but I also have a bit of info that you may want add to the start of this thread.
Question: With BM3, does it overwrite the entire flash image of the ECU so if there was an update from Toyota (say some safety critical thing) this will be lost when using...
Is that report stating it has had 2 separate accidents?
Snippet: Accidents reported: 03/14/2022 and 07/18/2022.
Maybe first one was repaired front end damage with seats etc needing replacement and then 2nd one was rear where it was then bought by OP?
I appreciate this question is a bit focused.. But⦠out of interest, is there an easy way to feed a camera up into the clutch to see if anything obvious is wrong like via an inspection plate? (e.g. check presence of Oil)
if possible, you can take the video showing oil and say I have an oil leak...
I canāt believe Toyota would even try and claim wear and tear on a part that is $3k to replace. $3k every 500 miles seems a perfectly reasonable running cost! ?
I would be so paranoid (once you do finally get them to do an engineering report) that they would switch out some old clutch etc., I...
Cheers for the info @razorlab, much appreciated! ??
Iād love to know what they do exactly for a bench unlock! (wonder if it involves taking the lid off the ECU and connecting to some debug port to bypass the lock)
I have a dumb question which I am sure must have been answered on here before many times over, but I could not see its anywhere.. (apologies āŗļø)
I have an early 2020 ECU. If I use BM3 does my ECU still need a basic bench unlock (I think thatās the right term?) before I can use it or can the...
No issues with rubbing so far, but Iāve not done many miles since getting them. Company I bought them from have promised me they will not rub, and will pass MOT. (Iāll let you know if that changes!)
My setup is the last post on page 7 in this thread...
just thought I would share my setup incase it helps..?
I was also concerned with lowering mine with the billion speed bumps per square millimetre in my area. So, I went with 20ā wheels which has basically raised the car by a bit so if I do want to lower I at least have some extra height now...
Not sure where double the cost comes from, but maybe Iām not getting the true cost of the cobra system?
Cobra without cat looks to be £2000 (with a 20% discount code applied) vs the Dinan for $1500, but once you add some pretty expensive shipping costs + tax + modification to match UK cat I...
