Hey @ArmenLS1, looking @ the 1.2 MultiMap, have a few questions. I only run 93 octane right now, however looks like each Map is pre-configured for a specific octane and only Map 3 will run 93:
Map 1: 91
Map 2: 91
Map 3: 93
Map 4: Stock Power Level (assuming any octane here is OK for Map 4 since...
Will def check out new 1.2 map, last time tried multi-map the octane levels wasn’t configurable and only multi-map 1 was set for 93 octane, so really couldn’t use the other multi-maps.
Installed switch to easily turn vacuum into BOV on/off. Only got to drive for a few miles, however didn't notice any lag differences with switch on or off (which is a good thing). Will provide updates when I'm able to test it a bit more. Also plan on dyno again soon, will do a few runs with...
We'll there's a tiny lag at the very beginning of the pedal press when your in the very lower RPM's, because the the BOV is open at the very beginning of the pedal press (if you roll your windows down, you can hear the BOV open at the very beginning of the pedal press.). Again, barely...
Just installed the Orange spring which is the next step up from the current Pink spring. Lag that was happening when barely pressing on the throttle is now gone, but yes to @R8TTEDR 's point, definitely doesn't blow off as much (around 70% less). So at the moment, it's eliminate lag that only...
Would have to agree that on partial throttle BOV is opening and car does have a tiny bit of lag when your barely on the throttle. We're currently using Pink spring which is rated for 0-4 InHg, think we need to run something like 1-4 InHg or a 2-4 InHg so BOV doesn't open up on partial throttle...
Believe this is the RacePort spring chart
Wondering ? if the Pink one should be 1-4 InHg (vs. 0-4 InHg) to match your reading and so it doesn’t open up on anything less than 1 InHg? And if this is the case, looks like there aren’t any springs available in that range.
Definitely agree w/ @ArmenLS1 on at least getting a DP w/ BM3 Stage 2, that's what I’m running and it literally transforms your Supra into a rocket ?.
Ok, drove the car around this weekend, and agree with @2021Supra, sounds awesome. Hoping? I’ll be able to hear more of it by adding in vented bumper and hood vents ?.
