I think someone else on here had techs that were happy to try to resolve and issue with the subs rattling.
Probably depends on how receptive the dealer is to allow techs (that actually give a fuck & want to solve a (customers) problem) to work on the issue.
And that's exactly why you don't experience the buffeting :p
I've only put them all the way down to experience the issue (like you, I never put my windows all the way down anyway) & if you like to put your windows down, this issue would be maddening.
My only real beef with the transmission is that I can feel the torque converter if I don't floor it in 1st (e.g. from any light in moderate traffic) and that the shift up into 2nd seems delayed ever so slightly if you shift below something like 4k rpm (e.g. if I'm just rolling along in a parking...
This occurs on other drive assist cars from Toyota, e.g. our RAV4. This one one of the first things I turned off on my Supra but I never felt that it was strong enough to force me into anything.
My assumption with the crashes is just loss of control from too much power & not enough experience.
I believe you have to pull & hold the wiper lever either towards you or down for a few seconds (it's in the manual, I've only done this once), this will move where the wipers rest so that you can pull them away from the windshield without hitting the hood. You repeat the procedure to reset them...
So the rubber seals around my windows don't look fantastic, and from looking at my buddies 135i, it looks like they're only going to get more weathered as time goes by. I feel like they're going to stick out against the darker bodies of the blue\black supras.
Does anyone have any...
I think that it's the sales agreement between Toyota and the Canadian dealers - I couldn't find anything that says it's outright illegal tho (at least in BC, but maybe I didn't look hard enough).
I think that the demand for the Supra was a bit 'manufactured' because of the hype & that...
Receiving a 'Reduced driver assistance' (ped. warning and frontal collision so I assume it's the camera) message at 1400km is what I don't like! :dunno:
I think if you press the mirror fold button it will revert the mirror to your saved regular position - I might be wrong about the button but it's somewhere in the service manual.
Sucks for Australians - if I shift from 3rd to 2nd at 72km/h I get a 21 gun salute out of the rear end.
Not sure if this counts but oh well ;)
I had a weird clunk in the center console when I was taking sharp turns, it was starting to get a little concerning so I decided to go some test driving... Before I leave I take one reaaaaaaaaaaallll long reach behind the passenger seat and find a second...
The temp settings\AC are confusing me.
Started my car the other day and I have my temps set lowish (18C), it was 30C outside with my AC and Auto switched off - with these settings I was still getting cold air from the vents which I didn't think would be possible with an ambient temp at 30C and...
