Yeah, I am surprised more OEMs are not going with a direct model. People are sick of dealer BS and the endless markups. I do business with a Toyota dealer that I know personally. He still gets me once and awhile, but overall they are standup.
Couple things. First the pillars are plastic. They will scratch and you cannot avoid it. Second. The clear on this car is really soft. I am anal too about taking care of my car and with black, it is impossible to keep scratches off. I buff noticeable scratches off all the time.
Cannot do Super Deep Concave on Forgestar's. They will interfere with the calipers unless you want the rims sticking out beyond the fenders. I have CF5V Deep concaves.
I will chime in....
1. No trunk button
2. ZERO storage space
3. THE HORN, seriously, THE HORN and the only option I see out there is expensive. Also, have you seen the ordeal to change it.
The rest is fixable or modifiable.
I also understand the frustration also, though, where I live, a smaller Toyota dealership takes good care of mine and two of the techs in the dealership also have Supra's. In fact, the smaller town dealer I go to is better than the larger in town dealer nearby. I think it is hit and miss on this...
I did on some Forgestar CF5V's with Continental Extreme Sports on the Supra. Discount tire always does me right. I just keep a careful eye on them when handling my vehicles. Most of the people working there are just young kids, but they are extra careful usually with high end stuff. I had one...
