I daily drive my car ~60 miles a day and I've only seen 3x other Supras (outside of the track) on the roads in my area in the 3.5 years it's been out in the US. I see far more Porsches, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris than I do Supras in CT.
Is it the same in your area?
I hate to say this, but your post totally reminds me of it...
Are you a fan of The IT Crowd? Do you remember the episode where Jen pretended to speak Italian? ??
Not at all suggesting that you don't speak Italian or anything lol.
I mean, I have really enjoyed playing what games I've tried on PS5. It's just amazing how far gaming has come in the past 40 years. I am wicked excited to try GT7 in VR.
I just can't find time to spend on it, especially during the summer. I like being outside during our "100 days of summer".
The main issue with running staggered 19s on the track is the cost of the tires. Typically 19s are significantly more expensive than 18s, and obviously you can't really rotate them.
Square tires/wheels do reduce understeer/push in corners a little and improve turn-in, but that's really just...
Just daily driving at the speed of traffic on the square V730s will ofter trigger TC on my 2020 during some turns. ? I can't believe how invasive it is on tires with a higher ÎĽ than stock.
My question is does Sport mode have any affect on the TC/VSC/allowable slip angle/wheel speed delta?
I like a lot of NES and Atari games because that's what I grew up on (child of the 80's). What I like most about these games in retrospect is that they don't require hundreds or thousands of hours of play to "get good". You could sit down, pop in a game, and immediately have fun with it...
I live in CT and I dream about having Larry do a complete detail with paint correction on my Supra. Love his channel and his attitude.
I'll have to check this video out tonight.
I've daily driven several cars with HEAVY aftermarket clutches and lightweight flywheels. Hell, I DD'd an STi swapped 1999 Subaru 2.5RS with a dog box for a week that I borrowed from a friend. I wanted to see if I could live with it in my car. I won't lie, the straight cut gears suck in...
Actual slicks like Hoosiers are not street legal. They will not last long at all with normal driving and will be outright dangerous in the wet.
Slicks are designed to be operated in a specific temperature range (i.e. HOT) that you aren't going to achieve on the street (unless you drive like...
I noticed my rear diff was weeping a little when I changed my gear oil. I'm thinking the o-ring on the fill plug probably got too hot at some point and is somewhat degraded after several track days and 30k miles. I definitely didn't make it to the recommended service interval.
Today I'm...
When I lived in Denver you guys and Tire Rack were always my go to. Sadly in CT there's nothing like it aside from Town Fair Tire which is is friggin AWFUL.
I was glad to see the merger between Discount Tire and Tire Rack. I hope you keep everything the same!
