This would be awesome! I think the issue is that we are in the Holiday season so usually people are pretty busy. I say we aim for early January for a meetup!
I had this happen to me when I accidentally selected the "Guest" driver mode. I had adjusted the HUD while on that profile, then when I switched back to "Driver 1", the HUD moved.
As many mentioned, I noticed that there was a very audible vibration coming from the dashboard area when travelling on the freeway (and sometimes on the streets). It turns out the vibration was coming from the infotainment display on mine. If I held the bottom of the display, the vibrations went...
Here are the measurements in inches of the original WeatherTech stickers. I mistakenly ordered using the sizes from Page 1 of this thread and those were not correct. Hope this helps someone
I was looking for a solution to this as well. Seems like people are recommending Meguiar's Hyper Dressing. Hopefully someone chimes in with their experience
I plan to drive mine to occasionally to work on Fridays, but it will mainly be a weekend car. I want to daily the Supra, but my Honda Fit was hit 3 times in the past two years :(
I had something similar happen where my settings weren't saved, but it turns out the car changed the driver profile to "Guest" instead of my "Driver 1" profile. Haven't driven the car too much to notice a pattern but I wonder if it has something to do with the key fob.
Thanks for the information as I was not aware of the process for adjusting BMW hoods. I'll try out your closing method when I get home later.
My intention was solely to document my experience as I was attempting to close the hood in different ways to no avail. Considering not everyone is a BMW...
Last night, I opened the hood of the car to admire the engine bay and poke around (as most of us have hah). When I was leaving the garage, I closed the hood and thought nothing of it because it closed as any other car hood would do.
Come this morning, I went back into the garage and noticed...
My Non-LE has the PPF on the hood and the door cups as mentioned above, and I paid $395. What's odd is that the Toyota website specifies that the $395 cost would include Fenders and Mirror Backs as well.
Agreed. Though this is probably common knowledge, I feel like I had more luck talking the price down when I showed up to the dealer in person. When I purchased my non-LE, the dealer first said they wanted 10k over, then after arriving to see the car in person, they let it go for MSRP.
Just checking in to say that I was able to get my Premium 3.0 (non-LE) for MSRP at Toyota of Cerritos. My sales rep said for me to feel free and let people know.
