Not technically, reservoir cap failure is common and results in evaporation over time. Have you checked both reservoir caps? Any dried coolant on either? Are either hard to remove/reinstall?

For me or OP? I was using Bimmerlink and the only codes/errors were for TPMS. No code for either Ride Height Sensor which was odd.

I may be putting out bad information here, but a few months ago when this popped up for me I looked at codes and only had TPMS related errors. I had been dealing with TPMS problems for months and I'm under the impression from other posts that there are frequent communication issues with TPMS...

Went to drive the car after it sat for a week while I was on vacation. Got a message about Low/No Coolant. Main reservoir was bone dry, so spent most of the morning trying to track down HT-12 and a new cap when my nearest BMW dealer is over an hour away. Took a quick pic on the test drive...
