I may be putting out bad information here, but a few months ago when this popped up for me I looked at codes and only had TPMS related errors. I had been dealing with TPMS problems for months and I'm under the impression from other posts that there are frequent communication issues with TPMS.

Can the "Chassis Function Limited" be caused by this or was it just a coincidence? When I had actual Ride Height Sensor failure my headlights would not aim properly, but I've never seen this while getting the random "Chassis Function Limited" error.

Long way of asking, "Could this be intermittent TPMS failure on your car rather than the ride height sensors?".

Bimmerlink or Protool scan would take all guessing out of the equation.

F' me! It's back. Exactly 30 days since the front ride height sensor replacement. Not during my track day. Not during my road trip to and from the track. No... sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, on the flat damned interstate! Sitting. Not even moving. As in FULLY F`ing stopped! And guess what pops? That damned chassis code. This car is starting to piss me off!
I mean...does it pop up and not go away or something? I've gotten the code about three times so far. I simply turn the car off and on, and it's gone🤷‍♂️

Sure, a restart clears it. Sometimes for a few days, sometimes for a few weeks. But it always comes back. Always on flat smooth interstate. Never when I’m pushing the car in autocross, mountain driving or at my track day.
I clear the code with BimmerLink but sooner or later it always comes back. Thought the sensor change had done the job but exactly 30 days later… BOOM!

I’m not even that low. And it’s the same code this morning before I cleared it. Front ride height sensor plausibility.

ISTA has a calibration section for the ride height sensors. Might be worth trying that since you are lowered.
I would think that the shop did that with sensor replacement but I will validate.
I just cannot understand why pounding around a track won’t trigger it but smooth interstate does. And this time I was sitting still and that dreaded tone and popup hits.
