Agreed. Given the only thing I've changed were the "upgrade" to ceramic pads, I'm leaning toward that also. And agreed, the stock pads were in my caliper REALLY good. I think we ended up pulling the caliper off to get to the pads. Thanks for your input!

Consider going to a BMW independent shop. They WILL know more about your Toyota Supra than Toyota will. 2 aftermarket steering wheels on/off, 3 alignments, and still no lights or issues.

Yep. BMWs will tend to vent coolant pressure. If you did a pressure test and not losing coolant you are fine. If you are super worried still, get fluorescent dye and add it. Under a UV or blacklight you can see any leaks.

Sounds like something is not in alignment. Basically it creaks like that because it's supposed to be like this... __ but is aligned like this /\ So the creak is the tension on the hinges. To test, try wd-40 or triflow on the hinge. If it quiets down, gonna say the back of the hood to hinge...

Get some blue painters tape, mask off the area. Amazon sells leather repair dyes. Apply using a small paint brush. Wipe off excess. Let sit for a day / overnight. Check with dry cloth. If it doesn't wipe off, success. Remove painters tape. Done.
