I had a 1990 Mitsubishi AWD GSX turbo and when I sold it 20 years later, with a fairly new engine that was dropped in and it ran like a new car, it also still looked almost new. The guy that bought it didn't even drive it. Said he could tell by hearing it and the looks, it was good to go.
So I...
I agree, I would love to have many, many more miles on it. Circumstances dictate otherwise but I love driving it even though I think of selling but a great car.
I have a 2020 and don't drive it as much as I would like. It sill looks new, no dings etc and only has a little over 6,000 miles (3 oil changes lol). And when I get in it, it still smells like a new car. When I take it out and run it in the sport mode, even the engine smells new. Still like a...
Mount some machine-guns on the front. Seriously, I don't carry one but I would want it on my person. You want it within reach and if not on you, it may not be. Hopefully of course, you won't need it. BTW, I have had guns all my life and keep one loaded in my office (house) and by the bed.
I had a 1990 Mitsubishi GXS turbo. Did a new turbo under warranty. Then I had to drop a new engine in it. Great little car and with the new engine, really nice. Excellent cornering etc. Still looked new when I sold it in 2012. White with a black top.
Now I have a 2020 Supra and a 2012 FJ...
All I know is that the engine runs better on the oil I am using, quieter and it just feels a little different. 5-40 (and the oil is way too expensive but what the hell the car is worth it.. lol )
2020 and around 6000 miles. Pretty sad about that. I really love driving it. My favorite car but I use the FJ Cruiser all the time because of the places I go are not always good for a Supra. I may sell it as it decorates my garage and I polish it and keep it super clean. lol I mean, my Supra...
2020 and a little over 6,000 miles. Not a daily driver. Would I like it to be, yes but I go places with my FJ Cruiser I don't want to take the Supra. In a way the Supra isn't practical for me but I love the car and color.
Glad I have the nitro yellow. I would also have like the dark silver or grey or whatever it is. Classy looking but then for my FJ Cruiser, I wished I had gotten a yellow, so there you go.
What is with the added dollar amount? A premium you have to pay?
I like not having to replace a clutch. Expensive and a pain. An automatic, rarely any issues. What do I prefer to drive? A manual, without question. If it had been available in 2020, I would have bought a manual in a heartbeat. Age has nothing to do with it as I am 73. You either like being in...
I notice the local dealer has I think 4 Supra coming in but they are all spoken for. And now I rarely see any on the road. (just north of Tucson a few miles but close enough and when going through Tucson, AZ). Nice to see some others but doesn't happen much here. And I read that they are hard to...
Lots of Corvettes. I like the new one but like the true sports car aspect of the Supra. I have the Nitro but almost wish I had gotten a more low key dark silver or a type of grey. But yellow is one of my favorite color.
Saw a car, now I can't remember the make. I could tell it was stock but had 4 exhausts. Looked cool but the outer two were clean as a whistle, they were fake from he factory. But I bet those 4 made it go faster. lol
JUNK CAR! What a piece of . . .
Owned since 2020, what a mistake, no issues, lots of looks, one guy screamed like a little girl he was so excited to see it. It was embarrassing! Comfortable, easy to wax unlike my FJ Cruiser, another piece of JUNK from Toyota with no issues.
