I have an early build date 2021, March 2020. No oil issues, 9-10k miles total, 2 oil changes, didn't break it in gingerly, use whatever BMW puts in it.
Oh sorry, I thought we were talking about manual mode. I only ever drive in manual and up and downshifts seem very smooth and fast. I agree the automatic shifts can be a little harsher.
What about lifting off gas when shifting? Are you doing that like itās a manual? I find the shifts are smoother if I leave my right foot where it was (unless breaking of course).
I thought the factory exhaust automatically closed the flap in 8th regardless of mode. Mine quiets down lots when I get into 8th. I guess it could be the DP with exhaust combo. drone would make be a little nutty I think.
Iām still interested, just canāt meet up until next weekend. Covid + working this weekend killed my schedule. I could meet you in/around one of those towns you suggested Saturday morning.
I donāt expect you to hold them for me or anything. If someone else grabs them before then, no worries. Thanks!
do you mean itās weird if itās straight and single exit? Or just straight in general is weird. I like the stock look just fine but love the sound and weight savings of the rk exhausts. Theyāre also pretty good looking. Maybe Iām being a baby and the angle isnāt as extreme as Iām thinking.
Is anyone going to wait for the dual exit theyāre cooking up or single is preferred? Iād go with the single but I dislike the angled up and out old school jdm thing they were going for. I asked about adjusting it to make it straight out and not so exposed but they suggested I wait for the dual exit.
āNope, heās horrible. I canāt watch any of his videos. Itās some kind of weird forced robot persona - no one talks like that. After watching Matt, Jason or dude from savagegees, thereās no way I could sit through Doug. Even the engineering explained guy with the s2k does better car videos.
