the rear part of the wheel (the rubber like portion) is molded onto the wheel. it will be a little harder and more labor intensive.... i'm sure it could be modified, the question is the willingness to pay for it. probably too much to make it worth it

to remove.... remove airbag by pushing with medium screw driver through a little slot on back of wheel (two sides), then unbolt wheel and pull...….

Completely agree.... I took mine off and sent it to Elvin to get it modified. I should have it back within a month. I will post pic after I get it back...
