  1. What did you do to your Supra today?

@tjk tried various popular solutions and posted his thoughts: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/wind-buffeting-%E2%80%94-gloss-black-solutions.13315/
  2. Driver assist functions don’t appear to be working

I wondered the same thing so I did a test. I had someone walk behind my car while in reverse and the brake applied. I found RCT uses the parking sensors and gives a visual alert on the screen, just as if backing up close to a curb or an object, and I heard a faint beep coming out of the...
  3. BlackVue DR900S-2CH Install DIY

@Retrocade is right. I have a 2-ch Thinkware U1000 with an external battery, which is wired as per instructions in the PDF in this thread. I only had to remove the B-panel on the passenger side. I was able to route all the wires without removing any other panels. Installation took me under two...
  4. Chevron Techron vs Shell V-Power

I think generally speaking, manufacturers don’t recommend specific brands, rather they specify types or parameters. In any case, here’s what the manual says: The previous page starts with gasoline being sulfur-free or very low in sulfur.
  5. Hardwired Dashcam

    Yes https://www.supramkv.com/threads/blackvue-dr900s-2ch-install-diy.4921/
  6. Closed exhaust flap (right side) when not in sport mode

I tried BimmerLink to open the valve, which only works while the app is running and the dongle plugged in (a BMW thing). I found the drone while cruising at freeway speeds highly annoying. So I’m ok with the side exhaust being closed - I can’t see it while driving anyway…
  7. 2022 Supra Debadging Question

One of the pins broke and I heard it fall inside the bumper. No idea if it fell out at some point or it is still there. I didn’t worry about it because I installed custom badges without pins.
  8. 2022 Supra Debadging Question

I posted this a long while back… It has pics of the areas under front and rear badges, and a description of how I removed them. No need to remove the bumper. The self-locking washers are unnecessary because OEM badges have adhesive tape. https://www.supramkv.com/threads/new-badge.9484/post-143966
  9. Issue with steering feedback

    See this thread: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/fixed-speaker-hiss-even-when-muted.10622/
  10. Passenger Restraint system error

BimmerCode doesn’t clear errors, BimmerLink does.
  11. Dealer Install CF Wheel

Have you considered doing it yourself? It’s not very difficult. There are several videos that are helpful though I found not a single one was absolutely comprehensive. I did have trouble removing the center nut so I had my trustworthy mechanic loosen it for me. With that done, it took me about...
  12. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

These two statements seem contradictory to me: ”This is the best version in the Z's storied history, but the Toyota GR Supra simply outmatches it.” “As much as the Z is better than the 370Z it replaces, it's more of a "sporty" car compared to the Supra.”
  13. Would You Drive An EV Tesla?

I had thought of waiting for the next battery technology that would allow short charging cycles. This article has me thinking in a different way altogether. https://www.cfact.org/2022/06/07/is-it-ethical-to-purchase-a-lithium-battery-powered-ev/
  14. What did you do to your Supra today?

    This might help:
  15. Socal Sightings

I’ll keep that in mind. Likewise, if you see a red one with a license plate that goes with the color (name), that will be me.
  16. Socal Sightings

Not far indeed. I find myself covering the area between Redlands, Rancho, Temecula, and Palm Springs. I’ve spotted a couple of other Supras in that area but forgot to download videos of them from my dash cam.
  17. Socal Sightings

No, just a couple of glances. I would’ve waved if he had glanced back.
  18. Power Off When?

Good to know. Thanks! It was never available for my 2020 Premium. C’est la vie.
