I haven't tried this, myself but this is what I found regarding a hard infotainment reset:
Note that this will erase all personalized settings and data.
Navigate to the “Settings” menu on the infotainment system.
Locate the “System” or “General” settings within the menu.
Find the “Reset” or...
That does sound like a strange issue! Since you've already checked the basics and the dealer hasn't been able to replicate the problem, it might be worth considering a few additional steps:
Software Update: Sometimes, issues like this can be resolved with a software update. Check with your...
I've seen many Lucids in my area. My guess is that the owners charge in their garages. And most manufacturers of EVs are losing money. I just read that VW? is investing in Rivian while it, too is bleeding cash.
But you can't deny that the Lucid Sapphire is faster, more luxurious, and better...
No need, as I am perfectly happy with my Supra. Side note: I much prefer mechanical knobs and switches, as well as mechanical keyboards for computer use. BMW seems to be going in the wrong direction in this regard.
Tesla sold 830,000 model Ss in 2024.
Toyota sold 2545 Supras.
There is no comparison when it comes to which is more common. Supras are very rare, indeed.
I don't hate EVs. I would hate driving a car that every third person on the road has, or a car that looks like every other vehicle model that manufacturer makes.
I do, but only because I can't give up my drop top MX5. One thing to consider is that living in an area with ideal conditions for any vehicle does not mean that living in an area that is known for extreme weather enables the same choices. This is partially why gas vehicles are still much more...
Perhaps you have not encountered a Lucid Sapphire. According to Car & Driver magazine writers/vehicle testers, the Sapphire is the EV king of VIR in their overall list of fastest track times. Of course, it is well behind the McLaren Senna, but that is a very expensive car.
Then why do you have the Supra? I guess you took care of the now-all-too-common design of the Tesla.?
I see massive cyber trucks all the time, and am terrified at the combination of mass and speed. If one hits any of our cars at even 80 mph, we are toast!
Ah, that's a bit different scenario from what I experienced where you had to walk in the store to start a discussion. I should see what the cost would be to get a new fob for my Miata. The locksmith guys who sold me the one I have charged $500 and the fob they gave me did not have the trunk...
Great writeup, Vince. I've watched and commented in some of your videos, and will watch the one you posted here.
My Supra is still very young with around 5000 miles on it. The vehicles I considered before buying this 45th Anniv. edition were:
Lotus Emira: I had a $3000 deposit on one but became...
When I recently went to a nearby Costco (Southern CA), there were two guys inside of the entry who replace car keys/fobs. It might be worth checking them out. There are working with Costco.
After owning an even smaller and lower MX5 for 12 years, getting into my Supra is a piece of cake. Seniors inevitably lose muscle mass, so doing a minimum of squat or lunge exercises on a regular basis will help.
Thanks. I guess I was used to the Borla Cat-back I used to have on my C5. After 8+ years, it still looked like stainless steel. I think it was 304 alloy. Maybe the Supra exhaust pipes reach higher temps.
I use AEM's dryflow filter as part of the Mazdaspeed CAI in my MX5. The filter is behind the right grill. And yes, having two filters saves some "downtime".
