  1. Any running AMS catted downpipe

As a side note: In Southern California, smog check stations are required to perform a visual inspection of the catalytic converter, and if your GR Supra has an aftermarket downpipe or non-CARB-approved catalytic converter, it will likely fail the inspection, even if emissions levels are...
  2. CEL 190302 (Fuel tank ventilation system leak)

I think I've read that the venting line with leak diagnosis module is also a known failure point.
  3. Best exhaust systems in the market??

This is what I ended up with - lots of compliments.
  4. Uneven Exhaust Tips On Akrapovic Exhaust

Several GR Supra owners with the Akrapovic full exhaust system have noticed that the left exhaust tip protrudes more than the right. Here's what others have found and what you can try: 🔧 Common Issue: Uneven Tip Alignment This is a known quirk with some Akrapovic setups on the A90/A91 Supra...
  5. Installed Eibach Z4 3.0 lower springs .8” drop

I didn't install spacers, but I noticed that cars with spacers look lower than those that don't. That appears to be because of the curvature of the outer diameter of the tire.
  6. 1200 miles break-in service

I've read quite a few comments by those who did 500, 1200, or 3000-mile first oil changes. Most said the oil looked very clean. Any metal particles were trapped by the filter. That's why I had my first oil changed at the Toyota dealership at 4100 miles. The next one will probably be at <10,000...
  7. Wheel bearing ?? Vibration/noise coming from front end. Need help pls

Whenever I had a bad wheel bearing in other cars, its noise was most noticeable as I was rounding a left or right corner.
  8. H&R springs harsh ride

I went with Dinans with their bump stop kit. The springs are 25% stiffer than stock. They lower the car 1-inch in front and 0.7-inch in the rear. Driving in Normal mode is similar to what the stock springs felt like in Sport mode. If the springs are shorter they need to be stiffer. I think some...
  9. ANOTHER OIL THREAD (Actual information doe)

Side note: I've lived here in CA for 40 years, and before that, CT for many years.
  10. ANOTHER OIL THREAD (Actual information doe)

Then 0W-30 oil makes sense.? I've been using 5W-20 (factory fill) in my MX5....so far, so good. My Supra now has 6200 miles on it with 0W-20. I may send some of the next change to get tested.
  11. How to test your exhaust's sound level

Here's what I measured after my Dinan cat-back was installed. The tone is noticeably lower but not as loud as the Borla Atak videos I've seen.
  12. Alarm constantly goes off

I'm curious if the part has been upgraded, since it has a different part number. The other part of this question is for what year was the change made.
  13. ANOTHER OIL THREAD (Actual information doe)

Do you drive your Supra during Winter months? What would you say is lowest and highest ambient temps during which you have driven? Where I live, they are 40F - 90F.
  14. Breaking in new 2026 Supra

Here's a good explanation about why "drive it like you stole it" makes no sense when it comes to breaking in new cars.
  15. Thinking of selling Supra for a Lotus Emira - Opinions?

There's a difference between a salvage vehicle and a salvage-titled vehicle. I bought my MX5 with a salvage title. It had already been repaired, so it was not only drivable, but also very reliable. Of course, it's a Mazda.
  16. The incredible BAC Mono: Racecar for the street

It is hilarious to hear (and see) what test drivers have experienced when driving this amazing car. Here's my compilation of some. Enjoy!
  17. Alarm constantly goes off

Our Lexus 2006 RX400h would display something like "Shift into Park before turning off vehicle." That indicated a weak battery. My 2014 Mazda 3S GT with tech pack would display "i-Eloop failure: Yep, you guessed it - weak battery. But never did I experience an alarm going off. I would imagine...
  18. Thinking of selling Supra for a Lotus Emira - Opinions?

Gorgeous car! Do you know if there were any issues with the car? Often, issues that occur early in a vehicle's life can be a harbinger of future problems, especially if the issues were fairly common with other owners. Also, if there were dealership-installed replacements, were they updated versions?
  19. Neutral override

It looks like he drilled a hole in the lever to insert a zip tie.
