I guess I kind of agree with you in a way. I drive in sport mode pretty much all the time because I feel like that's how the car should feel and sound by default from the factory. However, of all the cars I've had with "sport" modes, this car is probably the least amount of difference between...
I normally drive in sport mode and was reading that the valve does close in sport mode under certain conditions which is why I tried this out. I simply wanted the valve to be open 100% of the time regardless of drive mode.
The exhaust valves on modern Audi RS models work in a similar way and...
I tried this out yesterday. Not a huge difference in sound but still noticeable and got a few more pops/bangs. For some reason my car didn't come with a fuse puller. Factory weight reduction?
I added some ball bearing rollers to mine and it's WAY easier to push them around on the garage floor. There's a bunch of YT videos of people adding casters or bearings but the idea is basically the same whatever you're using and it's definitely a game changer IMO if you have a set of these.
I haven't found this car any harder to rev match than any of my other manual transmission cars. I did turn the auto rev match off when I left the dealership after I bought it and have left it off since then, so very in tune with the car now.
"Completely different" is a bit of a stretch. The F22 is still based on the F20 with some minor changes (larger displacement, lower redline, more torque, etc). It's not like they took out the F20 and put in a V6.
On a hunch I took mine today to get looked at and sure enough, it was definitely out of spec (rear toe specifically was messed up). Felt kind of twitchy getting into on the highway. After getting it dialed back in it feels MUCH better.
I would suggest if you're buying a new Supra, make the...
From what you're describing this definitely sounds like it might be the culprit. If it was the clutch itself I would think the issue would be more noticeable and gradually gets worse and worse as opposed to kind of an "on/off" symptom that you're describing. Hopefully Toyota steps it up for you...
For me personally, it's not the volume or sound of the buffeting that bothers me but rather the pressure from it that does. I am sensitive to pressure changes so the buffeting on this car was IMMEDIATELY felt on the test drive and I knew the little plastic mirror wings would be a first purchase...
Um, no. Carvana isn't the only reason that used car prices are where they are at now. You've got global supply chain issues caused by the pandemic making it really hard to buy brand new cars so a lot of people look at newer used cars instead. Also a lot of people can't even afford brand new cars...
Double check your model numbers to make sure they are part of the recall they did a few years back: https://images.harborfreight.com/hftweb/recalls/Jack-Stand-Recall-56371_61196_61197.pdf
I trashed mine from HF even though they weren't technically part of the recall and replaced them with some...
What do you get extra with the Bimmertech version that's like more than double the price as opposed to the cheap Amazon version? They essentially look the same.
They claimed it was fixed after the second time I took it in but it must have reset again when the car sat overnight maybe. It's been like a week since then and mine still don't work either. Just giving up on it for now.
There doesn't appear to be any clips holding it on, just seems to slide on and "snap" in from what I can see. It's likely the knobs either aren't being pushed down enough and installed correctly or the inside of the knob where it's supposed to clip in is defective. Either way seems like bad QC...
I am dealing with this exact issue on my '23 MT. I've been to the dealer TWICE and it's still not fixed. It's really sad but not worth my time to care about it anymore. I'll just use my phone if I need navigation.
