That’s not correct, I remember clearly in 1997 the Supra turbo dropped in price to 39,900, same as in 1998. It wasn’t available in California due to emissions.
That price you are quoting is the price around 1995-1996. Look closely at the top right corner, it says “1995”

Maybe later on when the mods and tuners started unlocking its potential. I’ve driven all those other cars mentioned, f355 also. The Supra really is a great all around car, although the NSX is/was my ideal choice.

Nice! You know where I am coming from as well, lol. Had high HP cars as well, still enjoy it. I’ve driven the gt350 and hellcat and to me, the 350 put a bigger smile on my face than the hellcat.

I don’t know why people look at specs only as an indication of how the car is. I used to have a modded turbo S with 750 hp, car was very fast, everything on paper was better than my current GT3 RS, but one drive in the RS I never want to be back in my turbo S. HP isn’t everything.
