My referencing of the rx7, s2000, and NSX was that they are the more “purer” drivers car compared to the A80, the Supra wasn’t known for its chassis, it’s steering compared to those. It’s a phenomenal car, no doubt, but the Supra was known for its modding potential, massive power, and...
Love the mkiv supras like most do, but a “drivers car” it was not, I disagree. The drivers car in that era, imo, was the NSX, and RX7. They were more focused, steered better, chassis was better.
Not saying they are bad, the Supra built its reputation on making loads of power, reliably, and...
they clocked the new 340i m sport with rwd at 12.7 I think which is considerably heavier. The Supra should be quicker, has the advantage of being lighter and similar power output.
PerformanceSound, please chime in on the last paragraph.:)
“These will be all-new engines rather than more powerful configurations”

Don’t know if this has been posted yet, but the last paragraph sounds very interesting.

I actually recall the 1993 Supra was more than 39k when they were first released. The TT ran you around 46/47k. I’m pretty sure of that, although I could be wrong.
In 1997 with the “anniversary” edition the price was lowered to 39k for the TT.
Again, not 100 percent sure.
*correction* the...
They all have their pluses and minuses and if you haven’t driven a 911 I highly recommend it. I prefer mid engine or rear engine layout myself:thumbsup:
I agree
Which is usually underrated going by bmw motors, and the car is said to be around 3300 pounds or less. The 2 series is heavy, around 3500+
Don’t know where the comparisons come from, I think some people just look at horsepower. Going by the reviews that are being released, the majority...
So, which is it? A 370 competitor or a 240i?
The truth? What makes it true? Cause you say so? It’s still your opinion and what are you basing this on? The hp figures which we don’t even know the final output.
I get what you are saying but the LC500/LCF and Supra is apples to oranges, completely different cars and purposes. I would assume that potential customers for these two cars won’t cross shop and know what they are buying when choosing either one.
like a Mercedes AMG GTS compared to S63 coupe...
You think that’s bad, look at BMW models lol. There’s M sport, then M model, M competition, competition sport or “CS” and then CSL which was GTS in the past. Sounds confusing, right? Take a look at the M5. And yes, many people are complaining since many bought the launch model and then they...
