Everytime I go into diagnostics to reset the brake pad light it’ll say reset unsuccessful. Went to the dealer and they wanted $80 to reset the light for me. I saw some posts saying that Bimmerlink can reset the lights. Is this the only option?

1 quart every 1k is insane to me. They recommend an oil change every 10k miles but by that point it's already new oil from all you've been filling up.

I was quoted $450 and then just installed them myself. It's not too bad.

Going to do an oil change today and switch to 5w30, going to clean up the oil cap real good and go on a few good pulls and see if it leaks again.

I'm sort of wondering if it has to do with the pcv system. When I installed my armaspeed air intake I broke off the that crankcase breather hose and I got a new one to replace it and I felt like I put it on right. Hoping that I didn't break it or something.

Did replacing the oil cap fix it?

Oil leak was pretty minor. No engine noise or anything like that. It pulled strong and data logs were good. I cleaned it off and have been driving around and no leak so far but I haven’t been pushing it.

Caps tight, or atleast locked to that 90 degrees and can’t go further.

Last change was at 27500. I wasn't the one to fill it. I have Liquimoly 5w30 on the way and was planning to change that at 32500. It hasn't been burning or seeping before today. Oil level still says good.

Just got home today from a spirited drive and now there's some oil around my oil cap. It's a 2021 3.0, around 32k miles. What could have happened?

Thanks a ton! I'm actually not sure how to save more than 1 map 6 config from the app. I can for sure feel the extra oomph those 2-3 psi give me. I really didn't want to go much higher anyways as it's my daily driver and I value reliability most. I'll try this new Map6 and send you over some...

Got it. I’ll keep the Map6 for a while. How much ethanol would you recommend filling for this map? E85 is very hard to come by in Utah.
