Wall thickness plays an important role in sound too, so as above - not usually associated with titanium ones.
The setup I had on mine, (Whifbitz decat, Akrapovic mid pipes and rear silencer) was never particularly raspy, but nor was it deep - what it did give you was a really nice howl at high...
I don't remember anyone crying out for a penalty, although Croft is the biggest wanker of a commentator on earth... 😂
What did Max do that was so amazing? He had a solid race, but generally unremarkable I thought?
Good to see Norris and Piastri having a go, I thought the radio message...
I'm all for naturally pops, bangs, rumbles and flames on the overrun - but the ridiculous levels of artificial pops & bangs are just shit and trying to make up for a total lack of character in the cars exhaust notes.
The 6MT only has really audible burbles council house, metal bin thrown down concrete stairs, anti-lag noises once it's stage 2'd... and at that point anyone with a shred of taste has removed that artificial bullshit!
I'm 6' 3" and it was like a clown show getting in and out, the sloping roof line is a pig.
I also found that after a couple of long journeys, (6 hours plus) I had severe muscle ache on the right leg for some reason.
That's ultimately what lead to me getting rid of mine, just a bit too cramped -...
I reckon he'll end up at Alpine, Max heading to either Ferrari or Aston Martin and that's what triggered them kicking out Horner.
Two of Horners henchmen in chief have been let go at the same time: Chief Marketing Officer, Oliver Hughes and Group Director of Communications, Paul Smith.
Piastri has been pushing his luck with safety car restarts a few times now, was good to see Nico in the cool down room explaining the facts of life to him!
Glad Lando won, always nice to see a British driver get P1 at Silverstone - but Piastri lost it, Lando wasn't there on pure pace IMO...
It's circular though - because if Max had been behind him then he couldn't have accidentally overtaken him :p
Max and George will continue to be fun to watch as they dig at eachother! ??
What about the rule that states the competitors must stay line astern and not pull alongside one another? (Also, the stewards threw out RBs case owing to the fact that every single car was braking hard and the accelerating behind the safety car)
I know you love a bit of Max, but either they...
Update:
Chap came and collected all the parts in the end... his boot was full of CATs, that's all he was interested in - he took everything though as agreed.
Messaged me later to say what a shame it was as he litterly chucked the whole lot in the scrap bin! :confused1:
Generally, in the UK, most F1 fans support a team first and a driver second - so even people have a negative view of Max, (or anyone else for that example) they will still tend to hold a more nuanced team view.
Three quarters of the teams are based in England; as a result there is a huge sense...
