So what was George thinking when he suggested that Lewis stay behind him with DRS with Carlos fast approaching. Unlike the weekend before with Lando, Lewis was the faster car at that moment. That’s a big difference and why you should t use the week prior to compare the situation. Instead...
I don’t disagree with the idea that you are compared to your teammate, but you forgot that one of the other big comparison is from your previous season. Checo is ahead of where he was last year and a place higher than he finished.
I don’t think it’s fair to just compare a teammate to a...
Can’t believe that I have to defend Perez but here we go. Last year at this time he had 210 points, this year he has 223. The only reason people are saying he sucks is because you are comparing him to Max. He is not Lance Stroll, and he is not Max or any of the other top drivers. But he is...
He did well back when he was at Red Bull, but his career choices after that point have been poor matches to cars and teams. As a second driver on a good team I would put him up there with guys like Perez and Bottas back when he drove for Mercedes.
I don’t think your market is unique in that cars and sports cars in particular, are going up in prices. Heck even my Civic Si, bought in April 2022, at 2.99% financing, today the same exact car is $4,500 more and over 7% interest.
The problem I think you will find with a base model Cayman is...
Yeah I went from a MK7 Golf R manual to a manual 2020 GLI, then because the market was crazy I flipped it for a Civic Si. Loved the Golf R but never warmed up to the GLI. The Civic Si is my first Honda, I think it’s a much better match for my personality. I can only imagine how good the Type...
Me personally? My ideal two car garage would be Acura Integra Type S and a manual Supra, but it’s a bit too much. But the Civic Type R would be pretty decent also, I just really want a powerful RWD sports car.
I'm in a similar situation and I think we have somewhat similar tastes. I currently drive a 2022 Honda Civic Si and it by far is the best manual I have ever owned. It's rather hard to find great manuals nowadays. I'm coming from back to back performance VW's, which I felt had decent manuals...
I think we can agree that Danny Ric, Lawson, and Yuki deserve spots on the grid. I don't think Sargent or Lance Stroll should continue. Where they land, to me I think the best seat should likely go to Danny Ric, if that means Aston Martin, so be it.
If Lance Stroll does indeed retire, I hope one of two things happen, either they go the HAAS route with two experienced drivers (I'm thinking Danny Ric or maybe even bringing back Seb) or go the McLaren way and pair Alonso with a young up and coming driver (Lawson or Yuki if either is looking...
I think you may be forgetting Alonso in the drivers at the peak of the sport. But I do agree that Lando is on the rise. Who can I see being the next generation, I have to say that Oscar has driven the heck out of that McLaren for a rookie. He's going to have a LOOONG career if he can keep...
Like most races, it wasn't jam packed with action the whole way through, but the first safety car, then RB pitting, followed by the second safety car picked up the racing and passing right after. I was great to see both Mercedes and RB using their tire advantage and off strategy to make up a...
You are mad because they didn’t match the only team that planned for that second set of mediums. No other team did it and let’s remember they got the win and most team points.
Ferrari did not have a fresh set of mediums to put on either Ferrari car, so had they pitted either, they would have likely been more compromised by the end of the race.
The McLaren car is fast and they have two very good drivers, but they are still a touch behind and have real issues passing...
I honestly am not sure how much of that I can attribute to Ferrari team members and how much was Carlos. Seeing as they rarely do this with his teammate Charles in a race, I think it was a combination of Carlos understanding the challenge and trusting Lando more than his own teammate. I'd love...
I have to say that was the best end of the race for podium fights so far this year, top 3 separated by only a couple of seconds. Just so overjoyed to see a true battle for first place as opposed to Max running off into the sunset. Make no mistake though, had the luck been different, Max could...
How am I not surprised that no penalty was taken. The pit lane one I knew wouldn’t amount to anything, but that on track one was consistent with others that have been penalized this season.
I will be happy if literally anyone but RB finishes first.
RB will likely be fine simply because their DRS is stronger than any other team and there are three DRS zones. That being said, Max has never won here. Any word on any penalties for Max due to pit lane impeding or impeding on track?
Then why did he say over 3 years in America? He stating that there is only 3 more years of this generation and basing 4,000 manuals on what was sold for the 2023 year?
Ummm, there is definitely more than 4,000 in total for the 4 years of production (20,21,22,23). This is only referring to the sales for 2023. I think there is a whole thread about production numbers that likely can give you a more accurate number of Supras that have been produced so far.
