Glad to know I'm not the only one.
I've been feeling that for a while now. Rarely, do I go to a dealership and the sales people know much about the cars. Granted, not all sales people are car people, but it upsets me they don't know much more about the products asides from the sticker price...
Lol my thoughts exactly. I believe if someone is financing through the dealer, they probably could get a loan to cover the ADM right?
At the end of the day, if someone feels as if their purchase made sense to them, that's all that matters.
So the car flipping on the LE's has now begun...
It's so funny how you say this, yet here you are on a forum asking over market price on a used car. Given it's only selling point is low miles and a LE plaque.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all up for your freedom to do so and hopefully you'll find...
That's all it takes. Someone with a bit too much money to care about pricing. Then, the next Toyota dealership hears about that sale, and they'll raise the price on their cars "to meet market demand."
Waiting is the best option for those without the contacts. Tbh I don't know who's to blame...
Just my 2 cents.
Comparing the C8 to Supra is fair since the base prices are kind of similar. I understand if it's within the price bracket then it's fair game. However, the C8 IMO is contending more with 100k luxury sports cars than the Supra, Cayman, etc.
I was blown away at the base...
Well they could do that, but then things could start getting messy. For example, I'm more than confident if there was a penalty incurred, they would pass that cost off to consumer in some form of an added expense.
Yeah I agree with the frustration of the order process. I'm not the biggest fan...
Not much Toyota could do in the U.S. because of our free market. Dealers are separate from Toyota Motor Company and they can price their inventory as they like, with little guidelines in between. It sucks some dealers are counteracting Toyota's work to make the car affordable, but most of them...
A blessing. I'm excited for you first gen guys, especially the ones getting it at MSRP (or claiming, you never know.) Can't wait to see the delivery videos and customer feedback about the car.
Not trying to be sarcastic, but maybe once people actually start receiving cars and inspecting the parts? :dunno:
I know we're a week out from LE deliveries for some, but I think we may be a bit too enthusiastic.
Just a personal thing, but I don't like raffles. It always kind of plays on mind that if the rafflers had some type of behind the curtain dealings with someone, then a winner is chosen before it started. Good luck on it though.
I agree with @BRX. But, at the end of it all the car was tuned differently for the Supra opposed to the Z4. Whether if Toyota techs physically did it or BMW techs. I do find it hard to believe Toyota went through their testing and said, "The car needs more exhaust note, send that guy from BMW an...
I was just going to comment this.
I do believe the headifold would had added some complexity to tuning as well, but if Toyota tested the Supra to such high power levels it makes someone wonder. Just got to wait and see what the aftermarket can do.
Yeah other members (*cough* @A70TTR ;)) knows a bit more than others about it's performance expectations. As for PerformanceSound.... I've always thought that guy was blowing a bit of hot air, b/c some of his stories didn't match up. But my expectations is Mclaren 570s, AMG GT-R type of...
