Wow, so this might be happening. Pretty cool for a lower entry, but that'll really put it in some close competition. And most of the competition comes with a manual option. Hopefully Toyota incorporates that manual they were testing and gradually improves on it, so it could make it to the B58.
I still remember a clip he showed on a video some time ago when he parked his car, but forgot to engage the electronic E-Brake. And the car slowly started rolling backwards . Thank god he got to it in time, but it was so funny and not funny at the same time.
That sounded great! Not to be the wet blanket, but this seemed to be in a wide enclosed area (kind of like a underground parking deck) so the sound bouncing off the walls definitely amplified it a bit. But still sounded nice.
Nice, I was in the market for one a few years ago when I lived in NYC. Markups and demand was sending prices to 120k. Couldn't do it, and told myself I'll wait for the next come around. Hopefully the GRMN A90 would be a competitive cross shop against this car.
For all you guys in the Dallas area in Texas, it seems the 2020 Supra will be at the DFW auto show this weekend. The Supra appears to be one of their featured vehicles on the website: https://www.dfwautoshow.com/experience/featured-vehicles/
In my opinion, the car looks good from seeing it at...
Correct. "Demand" to Toyota means sales (Finance, Lease, Pay full asking) of the regular GR Supras. Once that's secure, they MIGHT entertain us with a special edition or feature we've been crying for. I'm with you on waiting a year or two and seeing what's available.
Money talks and bulls***...
Its a rubber door jam man. No more, no less. There's no secret air tunnel Toyota left as an easter egg.
Tada-san has said you could make the fake vents functional. I interrupted it as this. My WRX has fake vents were that Subaru emblem stretches across the front side fenders. I could make them...
^^Lol I must be the exception that likes both and has a lot of respect for what the MK4 has influenced as far as car culture and aftermarket scene. But, I guess life is so simple as A or B right?
Pretty funny when you think about what the "rest of the world" (Internet) says in comparison to...
@arexniba Yeah I've been watching those trends too, curious as to how dealers are handling orders. @justbake said it best, just b/c SOME dealers are now marking up the price doesn't mean all will. There were ppl on that trend that said they put down deposits without mark ups.
I wouldn't say its...
20K over? F*** that. I don't need to be first. I would rather save that money, and place it on a hefty deposit on the hotter GRMN version than the launch models.
Whoa... that sounds nice. The weight concerns me, but I'm assuming they'll be more luxury items than expected. I'm waiting on the GRMN Supra, but maybe I should wait a bit longer for an LC F ~150k-ish? 3 year time?
Well then the burden of proof rests on your shoulders. As much as I love to read different opinions as to where Toyota failed with this car, I like to see the info for the ones claiming basic credible source. Especially when it entails reliability concerns.
Lol you're a funny guy. First you discredit the possibility of a source regarding an intentional detuned engine. Then, in the next sentence you say, "There is articles out there mentioning that Toyota had requested for a lower tune due to reliability issues but I am not about to waste my time to...
