Wow, so Toyota actually knows huh. Makes me wonder, why didn't they pull their focus group from us :D. This actually makes me very optimistic that the GRMN car could have a manual option. Or maybe a GR Sport trim to gauge market interest?
Also, if there was a pyramid of sales of all Toyota...
Tada's got to be talking about the lighter mules they were testing. If somehow the production Supra pulls off a ~7:50, I'll be surprised.
I could see the headline now:
"Sibling Rivalry"
Hmm meh, I see what you mean. I was expecting 350hp with about that same amount of torque, but 4.1 0-60 is really quick for a car at 50k (IMO). Depends on your expectations and what you're placing the car against.
As for the reveal, I can't recall the last time I saw a press conference I said...
Ok.... what I don't understand is, aren't the U.S. models supposedly getting more HP over the EU models, due to us not requiring that noise filter? Correct me if I'm wrong or plz place a link, but I'm hearing the same HP/TQ #'s globally?
Agreed, it's kind of like how Aston Martin uses Mercedes older infotainment system, but I guess ppl over look it b/c the car overall is very appealing.
Just when I think a viable convo can be had, the perfect rebuttal everytime...
Seriously, if you don't understand the advantages those companies have over making an entire new platform opposed to updating an existing one, in today's economy, there's nothing to talk about.
I don't think anyone...
Couldn't agree more. If ppl are able to push the GR Supra to lengths of the GRMN car, or beyond, before it gets released.... I would be ok passing on it. Especially if I'm saving my shirt from high markups. But, it's all relative to the buyer as to what they want.
Lmaooooo cool story bro, if we're going into specifics the thread is called, "what will MKIV owners do?" Seeing all your responses with all your extensive knowledge of the A80, it seems the answer is to complain (sry strongly disagree) and talk about Toyota of old. Learned something new today...
Omg, Thank you. My thoughts exactly revolving around this topic. I don't know why ppl look at the A90 as a replacement, it should be an addition to the garage, but whatever #notyoursupra.
@justbake no I agree with your statement, I just used to be in the sneaker world and if there's one thing I learned is if you want a hot item, either get it retail or fumble around through re-sellers. And I think its the same with certain "special" cars.
I agree with your thoughts on the...
Got to get the J's at retail before re-sellers get them and take advantage of the high demand, due to lack of availability.
The car world works differently, but the balance of supply and demand is still the same. My personal hope, is the A90 is a great sports car, that most are skeptical about...
@JP_Supra not all heroes wear capes...
These recent leaked pictures have been stirring up some hype for the A90, just by looking at social media and talking to a few buddies. Can't speak for all, but ppl are beginning to change their minds on this car. Price, of course, is the last obstacle in...
