Even though AT offers tiptronic/paddle shifters for drivers to control the car, these are artificial movements and they are heavily based on the computers. Unlike MT, which is a true driver’s car, the driver actually controls it, and has the total freedom to do whatever he wants with the car.

Really? Seriously? MT option on the 3.0-litre or 2.0-litre or both? Sounds interesting! Will it be available at launch? So far Tada has just confirmed about the AT.
Check out this link to have an idea of the A90 Toyota Supra vs. competition: https://www.motoring.com.au/toyota-supra-vs-ford-mustang-111475/
The Ford Mustang could be the closest competitor of the Toyota Supra. But it’s more like Ford Mustang 2.3-litre EcoBoost I4 vs. Toyota Supra 3.0-litre...
I see...o_O For sure it will be heavier but faster than the 86. I believe more luxurious and sporty too. I’m expecting it to be more fun to drive as well. If it lives up to the hype, then we can say BMW > Subaru:nixon:.
Beetle used to have rear-engine layout, and rear wheel drive as well; but now they have front-engine layout and front wheel drive. A lot have been changed to date. The Beetle may just have received a successor in terms of design only; but everything else is different. Porsche 911 has also seen a...
You sure the I6 will be longer than the I4? I think both will have the same measurements; just the engine will be different. Take note that the 2.0-litre I4 variant’s main purpose is to serve those who want to do a 2JZ engine swap. So in the end, it will still be fitted with a 3.0-litre engine.
I agree. The 2.0-litre I4 should compete with the likes of Honda Civic Type R, Subaru WRX STi, Volkswagen Golf GTI, etc. whilst the 3.0-litre I6 should lot in the middle of the affordable Japanese performance cars and the base offering of the premium brands’ offering like Porsche 718 Boxster &...
Here’s my take why I think the Supra will be made more affordable than the BMW Z4:
-it will not have carbon fiber construction/parts, which the Z4 will have
-less technology and equipments than the Z4
-less luxury than the Z4, as it is positioned to be a sportier version
-shared parts could mean...
We just have to think of it like a beefier 86. If Tada has had the right solution in the handling department with the 86, he’ll also be able to do the same with the Supra, while adding more power with the BMW engines. In short, it’s an “86 Turbo”, but rebadged as “Supra”. :drive::flame:
