Nothing crazy this time. changed the rear rotors to the Premium size. Changed pads to hawks DTC60/30 Added steel Brake lines Flushed the brake fluid and put SFR and finally got the car balanced. Achieved a cross weight of 50/50 !!!

On this one and another source it is said that those counterweights are there to dampen vibration (not trying to bring back the pad vibration drama we just got over from last week) ???

Found my own answer just a few min Later. It seems, based in what I found that is expected that the Hawks and many other pads do not have counterweights and that is ok. There is a video here.

Question: the counterweight on each front pad is not present on the replacement DTC 60 pad. Just wanted to be sure that is expected and ok. I looked I. The forum could not find an answer. Thanks

I like to strip and solder wires in the cars, but for an inside the cabin wire, the tap is probably safe. This is not like vampire clamping a wire under the fender for a third stop. In that case I strip, solder, cover with liquid electrical tape and then shrink tube. Probably an overkill, but...

New info: On the 2024 model there are no yellow-black / yellow-white twisted cable pairs. ?. I guess I’m gonna have to tap every single cable pair in this bundle. ?
