  1. Clutch slipping after 2 months of ownership

Yah fair, might not be the CDV. My issues always seem to happen when there's a fair bit of yaw and even a bit of slip angle when trying to make that hard & fast 1->2 shift. Doing it in a straight line there's no issues. So, it may be a momentary misalignment of the trans and the linkage, or...
  2. Clutch slipping after 2 months of ownership

Sub'd as I'm curious as to what the dealer discovers when they tear it apart. Another MT owner here, 3K miles. Car was properly broken in and since then has done a lot of autocross and a track day, no issues with the clutch slipping. Though I do occasionally have an issue when shifting abruptly...
  3. Differential oil change

Thank you. So when the oil temp sensor is removed the fluid pours out? Is there a torque spec to reinstall it?
  4. TPMS for the Supra

On a 2023? Or do they all use the same part#?
  5. TPMS for the Supra

So the OEM TPMS Sensors have gone up in price six-fold . I had previously paid $20.98/sensor and they are now $127.31/sensor. I beleive the 2023 cars need the Toyota 42607-WAA02 Sensors which are the 433MHz sensors. If that's the case can anyone confirm these will work? I've got another set...
  6. 2024 Mustang Dark Horse vs Lotus Emira, M2, Supra, Camaro, Challenger — Cammisa Ultimate Drag Race

Yup 12.4 @ 115mph with a 0-60 time of 3.9 sec for the MT, which isn't half bad. Tested: 2023 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 Manual Answers Our Prayers (caranddriver.com)
  7. 2024 Mustang Dark Horse vs Lotus Emira, M2, Supra, Camaro, Challenger — Cammisa Ultimate Drag Race

Depends on what you want to do… I went with a Bridgestone RE71RS but I mostly use the car for autocross and some track use.
  8. 2024 Mustang Dark Horse vs Lotus Emira, M2, Supra, Camaro, Challenger — Cammisa Ultimate Drag Race

Let's not forget what happens when you take the garbage PSS tires off of the Supra and put it, and the M2, on the same tires ;)
  9. Canadian Manual Transmission Allocations

I wonder if they'll sell it without any BS (undervalued trade-in, mandatory protection package(s), extended warranty, service plan, etc.).
  10. Nismo Z vs Mustang Dark Horse vs GR Supra

Imagine if the Supra came with cheater tires too, like the Dark Horse (Trofeo RS's), instead of decade old PSS's :D * Yes I know they used RE71RS's for the test. I sure do wish the springs & dampers on our cars were a little stiffer though.
  11. Fire Extinguisher

How did you attach that element clip to the floor? Did you just use a couple self tapping screws?
  12. trash site

For APP would that be PID 49 or 4A from the OBD-II list?
  13. Trailer tie down options?

The plastic rectangular jacking/lift pads are easily removable, there are some YouTube videos on how to do it. Once removed there's a slot directly in the frame at each pad location, a T-hook slots in there perfectly. Ties the car down very securely and doesn't put any side load on the...
  14. Trailer tie down options?

I much prefer tying down the car to the chassis vs through the wheels personally. Pop out the rectangular jacking pads and use a T-hook in those slots.
  15. Canadian Manual Transmission Allocations

Neat, that's good to know, thanks jtsang! The front parts of my sideskirts, just behind the front tires are indicative of a car with 40,000km, not 4000km :D You wouldn't happen to have a part number would you?
  16. Canadian Manual Transmission Allocations

So the side skirt isn't one big piece? They're made up of separate sections, and you're saying those are easily replaceable and fairly inexpensive?
  17. Canadian Manual Transmission Allocations

    Which specific pieces?
  18. Canadian Manual Transmission Allocations

Pretty sure you'd have to replace the entire sideskirt, I don't imagine that's cheap.
