Looks great!
My PPF/Tint shop told me nothing would stick to the satin black side skirts so they wouldn't PPF those areas. 4000km's so far and parts of them already look like they've taken a beating :( (and yes I have mudflaps).
Parts guy at my local Toyota dealership insists the car only needs 5.5L (6.8 quarts).....
Had to argue with him that it's 6.5L (6.9 quarts).
Do you know which adapter works for our cars? I have my motive powerbleeder that I used for my Camaro but the adapter doesn't fit over the master cylinder. I'm assuming it's this one? 1100 European Bleeder Adapter - Motive Products
Yah, seeing as the car isn't listed in STU, only SST, that's where you'd be classed. If you care about being competitive you may want to go back to your stock rear bar and stay in BS. As building a competitive SST car won't be cheap.
Our cars fall in BS class stock. Street classes allow for the replacement of one swaybar. So, if you replace only the front bar (like most BS Supra drivers do) you would still be in BS, if you replace both bars, it will push you into a street touring class. The Supra isn't listed in STU, only in...
Hmm that could work.
A quick google search shows all of the replicas as being 3M tape installation and not bolted though... so I'd probably need to buy an OEM one?
I know I'm going to get roasted for this, but here it goes anyways. Are there any Duckbill Spoilers or Wings that are easily removeable? Would love to add one but I'm not allowed to have one on the car for autocross events due to the rules.
I just installed my Injen exhaust, if you're looking for something that maintains the exhaust valve, doesn't drone and isn't overly loud, this is a pretty good system, especially at the price point. It does take some tweaking to get the V-Band clamps to line up properly though.
For those with an otherwise stock car that want to hear how this exhaust sounds, check out the video.
Overall Impressions
- Fit & finish is quite good.
- Getting things to line up with the V-Band clamps is a PITA, took me well over an hour to get it looking half decent, still not perfect...
Yah I don't know what's going on with the prices. I ordered some genuine Toyota 42607-WAA02 sensors back in May and paid $20.98 each. Now literally everyone is selling them for $60+ ea.
Just wanted to give a big  to the seller tomfree, wheels were exactly as described, fast to ship, well packaged and he even helped me deal with some BS Customs issues (I'm in Canada).
Thanks Tom!
Yah my dealership experience wasn't great, but I wholeheartedly agree that the way Toyota does orders/allocations is atrocious. Unless they actually make a spicy GRMN Supra (which I highly doubt) I will likely never buy a Toyota again.
Agreed, the process of getting the car was a nearly 12-month long journey that was extremely unpleasant. Some more crappy dealer experiences (mine included) are detailed here: Dealership Experiences | SupraMKV - 2020+ Toyota Supra Forum (A90 MKV Generation)
