Yea, at some point I got really sick of trying to get them off so I happened to break one of them and the other was fine cause I gave up and came back the following day and wouldn't you know it, that connector came apart immediately for some unknown reason. Luckily the connectors were on the...
I actually did damage the connectors for the oem paddles but the new ones I got came with everything so I wasn't having to swap everything over. For some reason I had a helluva time getting the connectors off for those too.
When I swapped my paddles out I wasn't afraid of the airbag stuff as long as you have the battery disconnected but man it was a BITCH getting that off the wheel. Had terrible luck doing it
I see all sorts of crazy crap around here and they do live up to their stereotypes as most of them do happen to be nissan drivers. There are a few others but it's kinda all over the board
My issue isn't even people being reckless, it's more people driving stupid on purpose to inconvenience others.
Case in point, guy in front of me driving slowly, guy in front of him gets in turn lane to turn left, meanwhile another drive is turning left onto the road into the left lane in front...
I was not referring to cutting the sensor I was only referring to the valve stem. I'm very aware the sensors are removable. I just wasn't sure if he was trying to get the stem and sensor off the wheels. May have worded it poorly since someone laughed at my response but valve stems aren't really...
Personally I'd just buy another set of sensors as you can get them fairly cheap. If you really want to try removing them I would unscrew the sensor first so you don't run the risk of damaging the sensor.
I believe you 'd have to push the valve stem back through the wheel from the outside or cut...
Honestly if you aren't super comfortable driving the car on track yet I wouldn't recommend changing anything outside of possibly just the front sway bar. It's cheap and easy to install.
If you want to spend a little extra I would recommend stickier tires for the track but I'd wait to burn up...
I'm up in Duluth area actually (I actually don't live in Duluth). I know the prices in the cities are totally bogus compared to up here and I have a lot of customers who will come here for work from near or even in the cities because it saves them that much money.
Looks like it states fronts...
I'm not defending whatever shop they got a quote from, however, most places will go off book time and not straight time for swapping stuff out. For some reason book time calls 4.8 hours for the front springs and 2 hours for the rear. Dealer I work at if someone came in and asked for a labor...
