Every time I have changed oil on mine I just dump the full 7 qts in there because an extra 1/2 qt isn't going to hurt anything and hasn't in the 15,xxx I've put on the car. I've changed oil 3 times now and I don't believe I've lost more than about a half quart between changes.
I mean realistically it shouldn't be, however, it will obviously degrade the life of the starter over time. These new starters were actually built with that start/stop function in mind and are a heavier duty starter than a vehicle that does not have this function.
With that being said, it is...
Unfortunately, and I'm not sure which version caused it, one of the updates to the vehicle stopped that coding from working anymore. I just have my start up in sport mode now and usually run my transmission setting in normal and everything else in sport and swap trans setting depending on what...
Is this a new issue or do you know if anyone was messing around with the headlights? That level sensor should only be adjusting the angle of the lights depending on how the suspension is loaded as far as I'm aware.
With that being said, if those lights are pointing down as far as they can then...
NP and my loading screen was frozen so I fixed it and got rid of the extra 3 pictures it loaded. Also realized it didn't have a picture of the interior piece in question and added that as well (it only shows left hand piece but obviously it's the right hand side)
I'd bring it in to get the battery checked then. I'd also highly recommend if you're doing any type of flashes to any modules with bimmercode etc to ALWAYS make sure you've got a tender or charger hooked up. If it drops power in the middle of a flash you could end up bricking a module.
edit...
I had the very opposite experience when I replaced my badges on the front and the rear although I did have one extra set of hands where I could see this being a huge help.
We would use the heat gun to get the badge warmed up without going overboard while the other person tried slowly prying...
I didn't do a whole lot of driving spirited or any type of autocross with my car before I got mine so I can't 100% say I noticed a difference, however, a buddy of mine and lots of others have mentioned how much of an improvement it felt to have the sway bar changed out. I did an eibach and I...
I'd have to look it up myself, however, as long as the wheels weren't any bigger than stock sizes I believe you can run 18s but you'd have to keep the same widths as the stock wheels which wouldn't make it worth it IMO. People do go 18s squared for track use to maximize tire life.
Side note, I...
OEM wheels on the 20-22 are fairly heavy compared to the newer 23+ wheels so he would see a fairly good drop in weight at the wheel if he swapped over.
OP could do what I was trying to do for awhile and see if anyone is selling their stock 23+ wheels can usually get them very cheap and they are...
I wouldn't mind something small but I just feel like there would not be nearly enough power behind it. I suppose it does help a ton if the vehicle is ceramic coated as the water will run off a lot easier and wouldn't need quite as much blowing power
I have the largest one that they sell and works super good. I had either the 600 or 650CFM one before I went over to the highest 730CFM blower and it works great. Still have to do a little hand drying but it really helps get a lot of the water out of the creviced areas like the mirrors/doors/hatch.
If your car had the DCM recall done to it at the dealer that would be why. After I brought mine in to have the recall done that has since stopped working when attempting to code out the auto start/stop feature and is a known change. Not sure they're working on trying to get it to work again or...
It is literally the #1 thing with any auto sports event if the event is ran by people with brains. Safety for the driver and everyone else is KING over everything else. If you want to stay in your class with a stock seat use the oem belt. There is no need for a harness for stock class. If you're...
