I second this. I also had your same problem OP although I'm only 5'11" and have since adjusted where I have my seat positioned. After replacing the brace bar behind the seat with a better and slightly more functional one it added more seat room and I never had that noise happen again.
I think...
Yes you will have to re-code anything you had coded out/off. Anytime that is updated I believe it clears everything, same thing when the recall got done on my car I had to re-code everything and even go back through my equalizer settings
edit: saw your later response as I went through the...
I wouldn't feel bad about not catching it when you did pads. Unless the dust sleeve was slid up or not seated right you wouldn't have seen them. You've gotta pull or push that up to check from what I remember seeing from others posting on here
As long as you're doing it at proper intervals as far as mileage and at least once a year is what I'd recommend
edit: I also agree with the post below. Honestly don't usually think to much about that being as I don't get a whole lot of opportunities to track my car or I'd do it a little more...
I never actually remembered to check when I had my car in and I changed out brake fluid unfortunately but still no issues.
Red loctite is stronger than blue
Actually annoyed I just got my re-registration in the mail the other day. Mine is a 22 and I swear it went up from last year. It's $63x.xx this year for it. Last year I swear I paid like $666 and I got custom and blackout plates at the same time. I'm in Minnesota btw which I forgot to mention...
Can confirm. Can’t drive my car right now but remembered this thread so went out to check when I got home. Radio lit up and said hello which almost brought a tear to my face.
Grabbed the wheel and turned it left, then right a quarter turn both ways. Might be a EU spec thing maybe
I actually have a magnet mounted just in front of my hazard warning button on the dash where I stick my phone so I can keep it plugged in and charging easier as well as much easier to grab if I need it. Those look fairly handy though although I don't typically carry a ton of stuff.
I did get...
Not sure if this vehicle actually has "run" mode or not. I've personally never tried to turn the wheel without the engine running so I can't say for sure you can actually do that. What's the reasoning for not starting it to get the steering wheel unlocked?
Honestly I'm scared for the future when things are so easy to find and information is so accessible but people still need to have their hand held to find what they want with something as easy as this.
I don't know what opinions you may get from others but I'd start doing a little at a time personally. So far I don't have real opportunity to do a lot of track driving throughout the year without driving a pretty great distance to a track.
So far I've just done a front sway bar and I have zero...
I wouldn't have been super concerned about the auto start/stop function. Most of these new starters are made to tolerate a whole lot more starts because of that feature. Not to say I don't basically have my permanently disabled cause I just hate that feature in general.
I'd be surprised if that...
