you can try to find a pre 2020 dme first, if you succeed you can buy the 23 and go the cloning route.

I agree about the legal hurdles you speak of, and I was going to mention the server racks too, it’s good to know for certain that they don’t open the DME, when you speak of accounts or keys, are there any off the shelf software that can access DMEs but requires those keys to access locked one...

i have offered them many solutions, from encryption, to cloud based systems, they said they have had some US companies steal stuff from them in the past and flat our rejected my offers.

Yes i know they lurk here often, and i dont mean to offend anyone, just saying there are safeguards they can use and still franchise to the states without loosing their intellectual property.

well i appreciate that they provide us with a method nonetheless, but im sure its not hard for them to franchise to the states even to Visconti or others who they have been working with, what i am saying is they can protect their Intellectual property 100% if they want to and still franchise...
