Ended up getting this CF style one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/313820361096?var=612571540751
I wanted a gloss red one since my car is red, and I have a gloss blue one for my blue car. Unfortunately the iJDMToy red one didn't fit the Supra key well. Seems to be a little too thin for the Supra key...
I don't think anybody asked for this, but I also found the part number for BMW air filter that is equivalent for our cars.
BMW part number

This helps and explains a lot for me! I had unlock done without clone on my May 2020 ECU with Visconti tuning and while the regular maps work well with BM3, the multimaps' map switching functionality didn't work. Upon further inspection the BootROM parts didn't load during flash.
I asked BM3...
Here is stock suspension, Conti ECF 275/35/18 on 18x10 ET30 SM-10. Two pictures; one is no spacer and one is with 5mm spacer. Used a 5mm spacer to give some extra leeway for tire deflection.
Has anybody figured out or know of a fitment for our Supras? I'm starting off simple for suspension but plan to do MCS 2WR or Ohlins TTX later. Their site doesn't list our car.
The stock rotors are ok for track use; just change fluid and pads. Could even get rotors off FCPeuro for lifetime replacement. My recommendation is that if you want to get more heat capacity, get a front BBK from AP or Stoptech
Any tips on how to do this? When I go to "OTS maps" it lists 6/21/2021 dated maps, and I don't see any CustomROM maps. I have no clue how to access those features - I'd love to be able to switch between stock map and stage 1, etc
@APEXRaceParts Any knowledge on whether the KW DDC PNP coilovers for the Supra give enough clearance to run wide wheels/tires? Thinking of 275, 295, or 305 square without spacers on Apex wheels. The springs don't appear to linear - somebody's clear picture here...
Hawk pads are not very good - skip those imho. Ferodo DS2500 is another street/track pad. It's not an amazing track pad, but it's been better than stock on the E92 M3 platform while being street friendly. Some copy pasta:
My supra is a light track car on the side, with daily driving being...
For stock sizing I would try Cup2 before the A052; A052 in my experience have a soft sidewall, which means heavy cars (Supra is ~3300-3400, my M3 is ~3450 lb) will lean over on the sidewall very hard, causing uneven wear. A052 on my M3 with -3.5 front negative camber was still not wearing...
I figured out my retaining clip issue. Needed to use a pad spreader to push the pistons and pads way back so the clip can be removed. The stock pad weights get in the way. None of the videos talk about that.
@Cptnslo yes. I believe I have. I compared the Z4 rears I got with spare rear pads I got from my friend’s 2021 Supra. They appear to be the same shape. The BMW includes the torque-to-yield bolts for the rear caliper and also black clips. Fancy.
Haven’t installed these yet so not 100% sure but...
yes, I have a decently setup M3 as my track car and sometimes drive my Supra instead for fun. Handling is very different so I end up overdriving my stock supra. I don’t think the stock brake pads do well, but I figured I’d try them out.
The z4 pads appear to be no difference, at least for 2021...
