I haven't upgraded since I'm still at stock power. However, I did see all the threads pop up when the MT's first came out so part of my plan for when I do eventually add Downpipe + Tune is to upgrade to a PTB Clutch
If you're on the stock clutch, your clutch is cooked.
It's pretty well documented that the stock clutch doesn't really hold up past stock power/torque levels. Time to upgrade to PTB.
If the wrap was done properly and isn't sun bleached/destroyed, any reputable shop should be able to take it off without issue.
Although it's probably worth having them claybar and paint correct the car after, even if you don't plan on doing PPF or anything yourself.
I've looked into this before as I wanted to do a custom run of TE's at one point. In order for RAYS to do a custom run/spec of wheels, they need an order for 40 wheels minimum, or 10 sets.
Having 5 with explicit interest just means that MI will actually respond to your emails when you reach out...
I have the 19x9.5/19x10.5 Advan GT Beyonds and I fitted the OEM TPMS just fine, the adhesive part on the back of the TPMS that's supposed to sit on the inner barrel didn't fit fully flush, but it did partially seat, and there was not any stress on the plastic or valve stem itself.
I didn't take...
Those look like TE37SL Black Editions, but someone put the OG TE37 Stickers on them instead of the SL Stickers.
It looks like those are the old style SL's as well that used the OG Face instead of the new Saga face, so that would probably make them Black Edition II's.
Person above is correct...
I'll take a look at this but I have the creak at all 4 corners and I didn't undo the LCA's or anything in the front to do the springs.
But I can take a look at those rear bushings next time I have the car up on the lift, or I'll have the dealer take a look. For me personally I just thought it...
I have not, it doesn't effect driveability and only happens under such specific circumstances that I'm just living with it for now. I'm putting the car away for winter next weekend, and at my annual service in the spring I'm going to ask if they can hit the sway bar bushings and rear knuckle...
That could be it for the front, but would that be the rear as well? I'll have to see if I can mount a camera/mic or something under there to try and help me localize it.
I was thinking maybe the Wishbone or Rear knuckle bushings.
I could replace the front strut bearings just in case. I would...
No luck, brought the car inside overnight and did this. Still happens/sounds the same and only under the same conditions. So essentially only when taking driveways/angles that otherwise put flex on the chassis/torsional force on the sways
I'm not sure if that's it since the creaks are very distinctly coming from in front of/behind me, towards the corners of the vehicle.
But, I do have some Honda Shin-Etsu left from lubricating my MR2's T-Top seals earlier this year so, won't hurt to put some on the door seals.
Background Info:
Car is a 2023 MT, with ~15k KM's on it, only suspension related mods are Eibach US Spec lowering Springs.
I installed the lowering springs myself last year and did about ~7k on them trouble free. This issue only started happening about a month ago. I got caught in a pretty...
