Yes, sounds like all "upgrades" on the A91-MT is visual and can be retrofitted on any other GR Supra. One difference from this limited model to the previous ones is the numbered plaque. If this will truly affected future demand and, thus, resale value is debatable.
Just do you, bro. The forum ain't paying your bills and certainly not eating ramen noodles with you.
To answer your question though, I'm waiting on a MT. My dealership got a '23 blue AT, too, that I turned down. I'm spending $60k, I'm gonna get exactly what I want.
My dealership has an allocation for a 2023 GR Supra in Stratosphere Blue but it is an AT. Boo! No MT allocations but they also did not find any MT allocations for the entire midwest region so not sure what's happening.
Interesting that CU Later Gray will be available in the non-A91-MT models in Canada. Makes you wonder if for the US this color will become available for the 3.0 Supra in 2024. This would make sense especially since all the silver/gray colors (Tungsten, Phantom and Turbulence) have been...
True - the press release indicates the MT to be available in all trim levels. However, some previously leaked internal documents included an "SE trim". Again, there has been no official confirmation of the SE trim or what this even means - all speculation at this time. Who knows, we may end...
Just to clarify....
The suspected "SE trim" does not equate to the the A91-MT special edition. The A91-MT special edition is a 2023 MY-only car akin to the A91-CF (2022) and A91 Edition (2021). These cars are differentiated from the standard and premium trims by limited color, aero bits...
This is not true. Plenty of USA Toyota dealerships taking deposits. As a matter of fact, you should call Gatorland Toyota in Gainesville, FL. They have a couple of sales reps that are very familiar with the GR Supra. They do apply a $2,500 markup on ALL their vehicles. The real issue is if...
I totally get you but seems that other members keep pushing this idea that the MT will be limited. This is simply not true. I do agree with you about the possibility of the SE model and A91-MT being the two options of getting the MT.
For the last time, the MT will also be available for the “regular” 3.0 Supra models. It is NOT only limited to the A91-MT model. There should be no issues for anyone who wants a MT to get one...
I wonder what BMW is giving Toyota in return seeing that Toyota did all the engineering on this new 6MT. Updated infotainment for 2024? Don’t think S58 would be given in this trade.
Interesting that Toyota decided to not go the Porsche route where you get charged MORE for getting less (lightweight). I’d be Interested in this “RS” model especially if it was cheaper.
