When you guys are comparing times be sure to note the density altitude listed at the top of the Dragy readout. My 60-130 was 8.27 last March with a DA of -410. Last week it was 9.14 on a hot day with DA 2625.
I run the CG Precision 5 inch catted. Because of the size it flows 20% better than other catted pipes. On e50 my car traps at 128 mph which is a good indicator of how much power it is making.
Hypersonic door guards work (sort of) up to 65 mph. After that buffeting is horrible. Anybody who claims these are the answer beyond that speed is FOS. A tuned Supra exceeds 65 mph so quickly that that is a useless benchmark. If someone can show that the other cheap Amazon door guards work...
In California pump e85 is exempt from the most recent road tax levied because it is considered a green fuel. As such the ethanol content is tightly regulated and is always 82-84% by law. I ran e85 in my GT350 for four years. That car had an ethanol sensor so I always knew my percentage and found...
My best friend recently got a 2017 Corvette manual trans. It is nice enough but no where near as fast as my e50-tuned Supra. That would take a Z06 at least.
Last Sunday I drove back and forth to the Shift Sector half mile races at the Coalinga Airport in central California. It is basically in the middle of nowhere and you endure every type of road surface to get there. As far as I am concerned noise inside the cabin was a non-issue.
I've got the CG Precision. It has the largest diameter cat and, hence, the highest flow. My car trapped at 128 mph on E50 tune which indicates insignificant restriction with stock turbo.
