Fortunately already included in the msrp. Glad Germany doesn’t have any additional government tax like in the Netherlands and e.g. some Nordic countries which can be another 20-25%.

I assume the EU sound “restriction“ is a result of the particulate filter in the midpipe. Looking at the realoem diagrams the part should be interchangeable with the US midpipe.

What I don't get is in his last video he said he was going for performance gains/improving lap times. Not going to achieve that with 31lbs 20s....

Wish that was true. Just checked. The rates for Supra are significantly higher. The Supra is rated higher than the C7 Stingray, Cayman(all engines) and Z4 M40i.... Here the German insurance classification: Haftpflicht 17 (Cayman 13, M40i 13) Teilkasko 27 (Cayman 26, M40i 23) Vollkasko 27...

Well apart from the lead time for production, it also depends on your dealer. He shouldn't be allowed to give you your car before he and his employees have completed their Supra training. This is supposed to take place in August.

Spoke to some Toyota guys at the event. Aparently cars won't be released for customer delivery before mid August, because each dealership has to receive a Supra specific training beforehand. I was also told it is unlikely that the full 300 allocated to Germany will be delivered in 2019. JP most...

Had a close look at bluestone metallic BMW before ordering, because it was said that this was the same as turbulence gray. Now that I've finally seen it on a Supra in person, I'm quite confident that it is the same (if not then very very similar,) although you would have to park both next to...

Update for buyers in Germany. Toyota will be conductiong technical trainings for German dealers this summer which are scheduled to end August 16, 2019. No one (unless they are somehow connected with Toyota) will receive their car beforehand.

Only have 1.5 good ones. Was more interested in the gray. The blue was suprisingly better than expected (eg. color effects in the sun,) I would say next to the gray, my second favorite color. What I don't like is that the color is just too dark and has too much metallic in it.

Saw (and drove:spaz:) the Supra in this color for the first time yesterday. As with most colors, pictures don't do any justice. Where the sun hits it directly, the color is almost silver-gray, in regular sunlight blue(ish) light gray, light grey when it's cloudy and grey in the dark...
