@FuzzyRev85 did you get more than what you paid for your A91 MT when it was totaled, considering the "market" values of those cars were in the $75-90k range according to some Stealerships.
Yeah, I am thinking about putting together a document showing what parts I purchased and when they were installed so that if something does happen, I can show proof that the car did in fact have XYZ parts on it at the time of the accident so that I can try and recoup some of that cost.
I just had a policy review with State Farm. When talking to my agent, I asked about what would happen if my car was involved in an accident. Obviously there would be an estimate for the damage and a determination on if the car would be repaired or totaled.
If the car is totaled, they would pay...
forgive me for my ignorance, but where is there a bearing in the spring/strut assembly? In the top hat? I'm just curious why switching springs would cause issues with this bearing you're talking about needing greased! Thanks in advance!
Not sure if you're still looking but I got variant's monoblock forged mesh wheel, the Maxim. Great price for forged monos. Photos are in the middle of the thread.

The way our cars are setup doesn’t allow for that deep of a dish unfortunately. I love the look of a big deep dish wheel but the most I’ve seen on a stock body Supra is 2-3 inches of a lip. Search for the BC forged MLE81 on here, that has a little bit of a lip to it.
So that’s part of the difference, I think. For some reason, lowering springs don’t drop as much on MT cars as they do on AT cars. Your car does look great though!
I’ve already had the shop take a second look at the springs. They’re installed correctly. The drop is just super minimal for some reason. And yeah they could settle in given more time and more miles but it’s quite a long ways to drop still and I can’t imagine them settling THAT much.
Hey Tim, here’s a side by side. There’s a tiny drop but I definitely don’t think it’s 0.7” like it’s supposed to be. Probably same story with the H&Rs as eibachs kit not lowering as much with MT cars.
