I thought the same thing about the ADRO kit and would have the real carbon pieces wrapped in the PPF to match exactly. I didn’t have issues with it melting with the stock exhaust. These new AWE tips are much closer to the diffuser so we’ll see. So far so good after a short 45 min drive today though.
Thanks so much for the compliments! That's kind of what I was going for! Some subtle details that aren't super noticeable from far away but once you start looking at my car closely you'll find its got some cool little additional touches and details. It's been a lot of fun so far! Can't wait for...
No problem! Thanks! It's not for everyone. Some people might think of it as a poser type of thing but I just like the look of carbon fiber but don't have the abundance of money nor the desire to maintain/take care of/replace real exterior carbon i.e. cracked front splitters. Especially since my...
That is what I'm thinking. I've seen people post pics with fresh, non settled H&R springs and their ride height in the rear looks way better than this.
Yeah, I had the dealership I bought the car from double check and verify that all shipping spacers were removed.
I did go with H&Rs and a local shop installed them today! I thought the drop in the rear was going to be better but I could hardly tell a difference from stock. I know they need time to settle but they are still quite a bit off in my opinion even pre settling. Leaning towards trying out Swifts...
I had H&R lowering springs installed on my Supra today and while I am super stoked on the ride height at the front, I am not so stoked on the rear ride height. I know the springs are supposed to settle over time but I feel like the rears have a looooooong way to go if so.
The front seems...
Thanks Tim! The concavity of the rear is my favorite. Now if only I can dial in the ride height to get the fitment just right. My new H&R lowering springs are disappointing me in the rear, seems like it is still at stock height, too much of a gap with the rear tires. Fronts seem dialed in right...
I'll keep you updated! Really hoping the shop that installed it just didnt fully seat the box into one of the grommets its supposed to go into. Also hoping others with this intake chime in. I know not many have the full enclosed box so we'll see.
Hey all,
I just had an HKS intake with the fully enclosed carbon box installed by a local shop on my Supra today. As I was driving I noticed a rattling coming from the engine bay. I believe it is coming from my intake box.
Video below.
Does anybody with an HKS intake, either enclosed box or...
